Just beautiful, I keep looking at the hq's! the dress with the cage is amazing. I may be alone but I love the way he uses the feathers. Once again the hats are just amazing. What a lovely tribute ^_^

oh dear lord this is amaizing .. i feel so inspired .. also this is amaizing for me as im doing my college project on butterflies which is good :)
and also what a fitting tribute to the fabulous miss blow .. seriously this collection has me in owe .. im completely mesporised by its beauty .. i dont know weather to cry, hyperventilate or what lol

I can tell that he's some what paying tribute to Isabella Blow in some way with all the hats.

To me this is perfect McQueen, I think it is amazing when he manages to mix both the amazing ready to wear pieces with the most spectacular-couture ones in one show, he didn´t left our theatrics eager side disappointed and he didn´t left us thinking about what we can acually take from the show for real life, I adore how he softened up those python tailored pieces with chantilly lace, the color scheme, and the accesories in general, the shoes!, that minaudiere on Vlada and of course all the headpieces.

I can´t wait to see the video of the show.

To be honest, I'm not a feather person much myself, but this is absolutely gorgeous. Love the headpieces especially.

I'm so underwhelmed and really disappointed by this. The clothes in are lackluster and average. I see a few beautiful pieces but I wonder if maybe the attention was supposed to be on the hats. It looks like he's visiting some of his memorable, "hit" designs but they actually disappoint and make me wonder why he would do that if he couldn't improve them.

all though poor macaw birds that had to die for that beautiful dress!! this is show is amazing. but i liked the season with the tiny houses in gemma's hair much more!

this is out of this world! The two together clearly made this with lots of LOVE and respect. It's really a touching collection!

I couldn't wait to see his Isabelle Blow inspired hats and collection in general (he is McQueen after all, definately a favorite designer of mine)
And wow this is amazing!

I usually hate feathers, but they look great here.

A beautiful homage to Isabella! I does look like a McQueen retrospective and I can't wait to purchase a few pieces. I'm not a fan of the use of feathers, only because of my love for birds . However, having said that I do have his ostrich dress :innocent:....the pocket-front croc Novak looks interesting (the pocket detail looks like the Chloe Edith) and I'm glad that the production of this bag is set to continue. Overall, I love it - can't wait to see some detailed shots.

love the dresses on Poly and Tanya! Best show of Paris till now. Cause tomorrow's Galliano's own show. Since Dior was a dissapointment, I'm praying for a wonderful Galliano show to make that up. But at least we have a gorgeous McQueen! It's inspiring, the colours, the dresses. It's McQueen at his best!

:(

Hmmm.....I'm pretty sure that someone as undeniably talented as McQueen could do just as good a job without killing innocent animals.

After all, good quality faux fur is so good, now and I believe one can source feathers that are shed naturally. I also have a fishscale Mini-Novak of his and not only is the skin more beautiful than python skin, IMO, it is also a by-product and the fish was not skinned alive (as snakes and other reptiles are).

Not sure why one would have to use the whole body of birds to achieve these effects (or very similar effects), anyway?
