Outstanding!! This is the art of fashion.
No other collection touches this by far.

I agree
Hmmm.....I'm pretty sure that someone as undeniably talented as McQueen could do just as good a job without killing innocent animals.
After all, good quality faux fur is so good, now and I believe one can source feathers that are shed naturally. I also have a fishscale Mini-Novak of his and not only is the skin more beautiful than python skin, IMO, it is also a by-product and the fish was not skinned alive (as snakes and other reptiles are).
Not sure why one would have to use the whole body of birds to achieve these effects (or very similar effects), anyway?![]()
(I also have the fishscale mini-novak, it's gorgeous and is much more beautiful than python and lizard, imo)It's amazing how many people hate feathers, apparently on a purely aesthetical basis (regarding some people)... They're a huge love of mine.![]()

I agree...I'm super disappointed.I'm so underwhelmed and really disappointed by this. The clothes in are lackluster and average. I see a few beautiful pieces but I wonder if maybe the attention was supposed to be on the hats. It looks like he's visiting some of his memorable, "hit" designs but they actually disappoint and make me wonder why he would do that if he couldn't improve them.
This show might has well have been the Philip Tracey show....there's nothing really that impresses me here on McQueen's part (which is saying A LOT...almost everything he does impresses me!). Most of the clothes really are just average...which is so odd for McQueen because I have yet to see a show from him that was just average (even including FW 05 and SS 06 (his 'commercial' collections)) and, to be honest, the clothes could have been designed by someone in Milan and possibly even New York, nothing here SCREAMS McQueen.
