Ooo parachutes which look like spiderwebs. I like that second piece, it's very McQueen. Im sooo excited...

okay it's only two looks but it looks quite lovely, i like the setting and the intricacy of the shirt

i third thoughts about the beautiful setting

from what i see the collection looks rather hedious, i still cant wait to see more :)

my god, aren't you fast mr.dale.:p
i'm not sure about the clothes but at least it's spectacular which i'm in the mood for now after seeing only ties the whole day^_^

I think it is very interesting as well. I'd like to see more of the less dark and evil stuff, as we saw in the first post. The dark stuff reminds me of Rak de Reiger. I work in a theme park in Holland he is like the big bad guy. And this is what he looks like:

I am not sure I love it or hate it. At first it feels like more of the same Mcqueen genius but then you sort of think "wait, this is actually really kitschy and not good"

I still don't know. I think I like it

My thoughts exactly. :flower:

Mine too... the ingredients seem a bit overdosed for most of it.

The inspiration is birds, from the makeup to the color choices to the obvious feathers.

He could be poking fun at the people who took his F/W womenswear for more than face value, the people who thought it was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock and the women in his movies (I guess since McQueen is "macabre"), rather than his attempt at being very, very commercial with little to no real meaning behind the clothes.

Or he could really have had Alfred Hitchcock as an inspiration and this time around he's inspired by the movies (The Birds) rather than the women in the movie.

Is that well explained?
