America's Next Top Model Cycle 22

The CW has revealed the judging lineup and prize package for the upcoming 22nd cycle of America’s Next Top Model, as well as the names, ages, hometowns, and heights of the cast.
Comprising the panel will be Tyra, PR maven Kelly Cutrone, and runway diva coach extraordinaire Miss J, the same three individuals who made up the cycle 21 panel. In addition, Yu Tsai will be returning for his second cycle as creative consultant after replacing Johnny Wujek. Cycle 22 will also feature special guests Jonathan and Drew Scott (HGTV’s Property Brothers), model/host Chrissy Teigen, and fashion editor Joe Zee.
The 14 contestants will be fighting over a prize package that includes $100,000 from Zappos Couture, becoming the face of Zappos Couture’s 2016 brand re-launch, a feature in Nylon Magazine, and a modeling contract with Next Management. Last cycle, the winner was given a $100,000 contract with Guess, which had been affiliated with America’s Next Top Model for two cycles.
This cycle of America’s Next Top Model, the third consecutive centering on the “Guys vs. Girls” theme, has an extra twist, as height did not make a difference in casting. Normally, the models have to be within a certain height range in order to make it on the show, but for cycle 22, the tallest female model comes in at 5’9 1/2″ with the shortest at just 5’3″.

The new season premiered yesterday, many of the models do actually look pretty good hope the shoots wont suck

Can I just say while the shows antics are still questionable this is the most interesting cast! I was skeptical about guys vs girls for a while but I am feeling it.

I've really fallen in love with Mame and Hadassah. They are just a couple of STUNNERS and I hope they manage to scrape out a descent career after this debacle of a show

Michael, Justin, Mame & Ashley are my favorite this year. I also liked Ava's picture.

I think there is a good potential in those candidates. But some of them need to stop acting like this is a circus. I just can't stand it. I guess they need it for the audience. And this is why I like the Australian's version better because the girls are acting normal

agreed, the drama is taking away from the fashion, Tyra doesnt realize that too much drama is taking away viewers

A few of them have a decent look but most of the contestants are way short. 5'3 and 5'4 is extremely short, even for petit modeling. And for the guys anything short of 6'1 is a definite hindrance. I just don't know how Tyra or the producers think they can find someone who will actually succeed when a designer or editor will see their measurements and reject them immediately based on their heights.

This cast actually looks promiseing but let's face it it's a realty show more than model competition. It's gonna be more about drama andy Tayra's crazyness than modeling.
