Devon I have the same prob. I draw but not too proficient with the sewing bit. However I think once you know the principle and you can explain it to the seamstress/tailor you'll be fine. My aunt sews my designs

Btw the shoes are still fricking fierce!!! And that Roman looking dress I love it. When I travel to the US this summer I've been told to visit FIT so ama check it out

It's easy to find threads about almost any topic if you use the advanced search this way: always search thread titles only and ask for results as threads and consider selecting just the forum you want, like Careers & Education, or you will get way too many results to be helpful.

voguelover: i'm super envious of your drawing/design talent. I love styling & putting outfits together with pieces that already exist but i can't imagine being able to just conjure up designs in my head. good luck with pursuing your dreams and don't listen to the nay-sayers

thanks! yeh they are all sketched then i scan them onto the pc to photoshop enhance colors etc! also if i cant make/draw a design i photoshop the prints onto the garments like the jeans i posted!
