According to Harper's Bazaar, Kendall and Jourdan wore two of the looks from the upcoming collaboration...

because the world needs more gaudy and bandage type of dresses.. and we all know the people that love them the most are frequently the ones with proportions opposite of that of a supermodel so.. yeah, thanks for another eye sore H&M..

I don't understand how that velvet pearl-encrusted oversized jacket is part of the upcoming H&M collection though, it looks like anything but mass produced. I bet it's going to cost a lot.

Also, these two designs are really an exact copy of everything we've seen so far. It's not like he designed new items based on the house's DNA like other collaborators have done in the past.

If the two looks worn by Kendall and Jourdan are are preview of what's to come, then you can count me out on this one. Basing on the 2 looks, I see 0 creativity and novelty. The skirt Jourdan is wearing reminds me of Gucci S/S 2011 while the embellished top reminds me of those metal dresses from Gucci S/S 2010. In essence, it screams Gucci. Meanwhile, what Kendall is wearing is like a scrapped look from F/W 2012.

So I'm sorry for not being excited here. If this is what's to come then it seems like Olivier is hiding behind the Balmain brand. He knows that whatever he designs, new or same old same old, people would clamor to buy it. Who doesn't want to wear affordable Balmain?

Those two looks, while not too bad, look extremely similar to looks from his previous collections.
I probably would've been excited about this a few years ago when olivier was making nice clothes and the balmain name wasn't tainted with kardashians and cheap tacky trashiness

This is just going to be another tacky collection from Olivier, I can pass that on. I am WAY more excited about UNIQLO and Lemaire.

I'd maybe be interested if Decarnin were still the designer. At least back then the clothes were tacky in a good way. But given the fact that even actual models can barely pull off Olivier's gaudy and overwrought designs, it will be a complete nightmare to see normal people wearing them.

I do like the jacket that Kendall is wearing though. That collection (Fall 2012) was the last one that Olivier did that I actually liked. My guess is that the "pearls" will be cheap plastic beads that will fall off after wearing it once.

I have a feeling that this collection's going to have the best quality products. I'm excited, can't wait to hear more from this.

The irony of Balmain doing H&M. It used to be one of the most expensive and exclusive maison in Paris and now they are doing an H&M collab. Also, why doing an H&M collection when you already have a lower priced brand: Pierre Balmain?

To say the truth, i don't care about Balmain anymore...like many people. Former Balmain customers during Decarnin's era went to Saint Laurent and now that Christophe Decarnin is back at Faith Connexion, they will follow. I really don't care about what is going on with this brand.

I love Olivier. He is fun and everything but his stuff is not my cup of tea.

I'm also a bit tired of H&M collabs...

I've been counting on Balmain being the next collaborators every collection and I am finally right. Balmain used to be one of the most exclusive rtw brands mainly from pricing and demi-couture work so it is a shame to see it now pandering to such a low market. But anything to boost Olivier's celebrity status.

The prices will be ridiculous but I think Olivier's plush, magpie designs will work really well in a commercial environment like H&M. I'd be interested to know if he would do anything for men?

I've been wating for these news for a long time, I know Balmain would collab with H&M very soon and I was right!! I'm hoping for nice blazers with nice shoulders, amazing shoes and leather jackets! Can't wait.

I'm sure that Kendall (and Jourdan Dunn) will be the face of this collaboration

I'm so happy  !! I think I've never been more excited by an H&M collaboration ! Can't wait to see all the looks, and to be in november ! I already want the looks that Kendall and Jourdan are wearing ! (specially the blazer and the shoes)

What's so stupid about these collars are how much they are just knockoffs of the main line. It would be much more interesting if they created an exclusive collection just for H&M. But nah, that's just too much to ask as of designer.

My exact thoughts. Plus isn't the point of this brand to be tacky as hell but at least to be of great quality. Balmain with H&M quality standards is just H&M on illegal substances to me...
