heyy i was wondering if anyone could help me out with my blogger layout. i'm using minima right now and i was wondering if there was any way to make the left column slightly bigger than it is right now - since its hard to get full images to fit in the left column (they get cut off) without them being really small.
i'm sure there's just some numbers i change or something in the code.. but i'm not sure.
i'd appreciate any help!

I began a new page, on Monday or Tuesday, and keep trying to insert codes into "About Me" section, but nothing is updated. Does it take a week or more after joining for this to occur? Anyone know? I havent opened an MySpace since '06, so I forget. Any help is appreciated.

ive heard about a tool for blogger that can make your blog appear in several languages but im not sure if its just a translate tool, and those are never accurate just a mess. ive also seen some blogs that have alittle flag link so you can select the language and it changes automatically, it doesnt load a new page nor a different blog, it is the same , the only thing that changes is the text and i think it is more professional looking, anyone knows how to do this?

Surely someone knows why my new MySpace page wont update? I insert codes into "About Me" and it will tell me 'profile updated' but then nothing has changed.

I have tried mygen.co.uk and that wont work either.

Hey everyone!
I just started blogging last month... does anyone have any tips for my blog? things I can improve on? I don't know how to create templates and I dont like any of the templates on blogspot so I've left the background pretty simple!
Anyways any criticism is good, i will take it all constructively and would love to hear how I can improve my blog

For anyone wanting to have their first dabble in html and css look up HTML for kids on google. It may seem strange but the intructions are clear and simple. When I first started I was all self taught from this website http://www.lissaexplains.com/

I found out it is because I have the new 2.0 profile...how can you convert back to 1.0 version? Somebody, anybody...

risska you do have an awesome blog layout! mine is just fairly simple, i'm too lazy to work though all the html stuff
but when i was younger i used lisaexplains a lot as well! it is really useful if you have the time to learn it!

Well, the no-doubt-about fact (ok, it's open for discussion, but generally) best blog service is wordpress on your own server. A server and a domain won't cost you more than a shirt at H&M and you get to customize your layou 100% - access to loaaads of themes and templates, plugins, support etc. You also get your own domain-name that makes you stand out and come across as more professional.

totally agree with above. wordpress is great, loads of option to customise and the community forum is really helpful if your having problems with code.
its a little more complicated to set up and install but there are loads of tutorials online to help.

yeah Im pretty sure they will let you host your own domain name with them. They might charge for this im not sure?

can anyone suggest a way to add music to your blog ?

there are so many out there

i've seen ones with a playlist and they start playing right away when you enter the page, but they can sometimes be slow to load. is there also a way to have separate songs on your blog.. like you might want to post a new song right in the post, which don't load automatically. and you can just play it on the blog instead of downloading.
