Blumarine F/W 08.09 Milan

i usually like blumarine but this looks pretty bad to me

i hate the lingerie-like pieces at the beginning of the thread..
they just look sort of trashy, cheap and reminiscent of the slip dresses from the 90s..

i think some of the dresses in post #42 are nice, but they're not particularly original..

not her best effort imo...

I love the angora cardigans worn with the slip dresses, although, whether one could actually wear them, without being accused of coming out in one's nightwear, I'm not sure?

I love this collection - the colours, the fabrics. I'm not one to go for the animal prints, or even how fur has been used in other collections lately, but it works so well here. Stunning. Glad to be impressed by this collection in Milan after disappointments at some of my favorites.

i don't like the lingerie-esque dresses or the puffy fur lined jackets/vests... it reminds me of brands like Baby Phat, with the tacky logo necklaces and bracelets. the ruffles and flowers are sort of interesting, but not in tune with the rest of the collection.
