Helena I completely agree with all that you said there

and yes prorsum means 'to move forward' in Latin which is basically what the line is. Burberry moving forward...

Just wanted to mention, Burberry London is the original Burberry going back donkey's years ... Burberry Prorsum was founded under Christopher Bailey I believe. So there's really not a diffusion situation here, more the opposite ...

I too am disappointed with this collection ... but it is reflecting the general darkness and plainness that is doing very little for me.

Have to agree with the majority, the fur is unnecessary.

Other than that, it's not too bad but I don't think it's anything special. I liked last years fw show much more.

I quite like Maria Carla's second look. The blue one with that wafty skirt. But this whole disgusting draping dead animals everywhere is so gross! I hate burberry, boring, bland and blood-ridden.

I think I don't prefer this collection, maybe C.B.'s past collections been quite good, I'd been expecting this highly. A bit gloomy.

I don't like fur nor wear it, I find it vulgar and unnecessary in all but the harshest climates, but to tell you the truth it's become so dirt common on runways that my eye just skips over it now Can we please have a "Fur is so common, darling" trend and a search for a new status symbol?

I think Bailey should abandon the Novacheck and leave that for the London line. If they want to move ahead and bring a younger image then the check slows them down.

^ as whole...pull apart the pieces and it losed a bit of its desirability

..except the coats though, the houndstooth trapeze coat is great. and some play on shapes which i missed since the ss 2005 collection.

Did they punch the models in the face one by one before sending them out? That round-headed alien one (don't know her name) and the newly blonde one look like death warmed over. Honestly - was this part of the make-up styling? Just wondering.
