Given the economy, it isn't surprising that they're pushing the check, but given how almost everything from the non-Prorsum lines is already coated with it, seeing it here is disappointing. Based on the photos so far, many of the challenging pieces from older collections are gone, but it also lacks the effortless appeal of some of his older work. A friend and I once discussed how, while we personally didn't want to wear Prorsum, it would be great if the average guy on the street could take a bunch of tips from the s/s 09 collection. That kind of desireability isn't showing up here (yet?). As it stands, this is like a super-safe variation of the themes from McQueen f/w 06 (the one with the high waisted pants and frills).
Didn't Pilati do something like the red lapel in the first post? Also worth noting are the longer sweaters. I like the idea, but based on similar ones I've tried on, they get a bit tough to walk in.
