Celine S/S 2013 Paris

Great, those shoes are gonna be everywhere next season  I don't know, I get that she's trying to move away from her "minimal boxy" look because its now everywhere, but I am just not a fan if this. Maybe I need to let it sink in.

I'm starting to miss her magical factor more and more lately and Im' affraid these clothes even though they look extremely soft and comfy, are really unflattering IRL.
First there's those appalling shoes. I just don't get those flat furry sandals or the furry Daisy Duck pumps. But not only the shoes are almost unwearble but the clothes themselves look very tricky. I like the use of silk though, it's used perfectly. I love the idea of drapping your body in silk and go out. I'm always a sucker for nonchalance elegance. Besides it's a very quiet collection with a real feeling of ease that stands out from the sharpness of other shows. Yet I'm really confused by the proportions, I feel like the clothes wear the models. There's a notion of beautiful clothes yes but it's funny to see that these clothes seem to be meant to be comfortable, practical and simple yet they really look unwearable. Doesn't seem to be a real consideration for the woman's body.

I don't know how to explain why I like those shoes so much...I just...like them, hahaha.

It is weird collection, I think Celine has gone too far it's overwhelming design. I missed SS10 collection that was the best collection of this house yet.

Fantastic collection. So elegant and modern. I really love this.

the shoes, on ther other hand, put every ugly shoe seen on recent times to shame. that is disgusting. what was she thinking? :D

a swing and a miss. those shoes are just unforgivable, like really, were they sitting in the design studio dropping acid when they thought those up?

i really like this collection, the long dresses caught my eye inmediately, they are beautiful... still about the shoes... i believe she even maked them because of how hilarious would they look, i don't know... they are just a simple mess.

Gorgeous collection .. love the shapes, the weight of the fabrics, the palette, the layering, even the shoes, Prada must feel so ridiculous right now still swearing by feet torture and ridiculing women like that when the rest of designers this season have continued to do this flat footwear, it is gimmicky in this case but so are glittered platforms without heel and any other 20 centimeter shoes.

The presentation is a bit uninspired but I guess this and Jurguen is what she's into.. which is a shame because are clothes are usually great and always captured in such a mediocre form (not criticising simple shows, just the snapshot feel of it).

I am surprised so many people are not really taken by these clothes; I think it's a lovely collection. Beautiful fabrics & cuts; some play with long & short proportions (that long sleeveless tuxedo vest is gorge!) and frayed hems; knots in the clothes, the necklaces & cuffs; those silly furry shoes and rolled up slouchy bags; that mesh for ventilation.
It seems to be a statement on comfort.

Well... I'm not amazed. Not amazed at all. My love for her work is slowly fading away as her new collections come out...

While I'm all for comfort, I feel like this is comfort gone wrong. Indeed, something about the way she cut her clothes puts me off greatly. She used great fabrics, the colour palette of the collection is appealing but there's something about these clothes I really do not like. That slouchiness...

I won't even bother mentioning the shoes which are, to me, an absolute joke. If someone had told me they were by Jeremy Scott, I'd have believed them. She used fur on shoes in the past and it worked really well; what happened?!

Oh my god those shoes! They look like Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse shoes

Lovely clothes but oh so drab compared to her previous collections for the house.
