Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

brand new to this thread, and there's no way I can go through 300 pages, so here's my question: what's the general consensus, if any, on the messenger or saddle paddington... and who sells it (or sold it)? Thanks in advance.

I have the medium saddle in Tan and I it!! I use it more than the satchel paddington I have. It's not as heavy and the leather is beautiful!! The lenght of the strap is just right.

You do have to get used to getting into the bag though. Difficult to zip sometimes but it goes away with use.

I think NM, NAP and LVR sold them.

Are you thinking of getting one?

I have a question ...
i am getting both a medium paddy and a fendi spy .... what colors look best on these bags? I want each to be in a different color .. i like the chocolate paddy ... the tan or whisky are also great .... but what about the spy? what color should i get it in? i dont really like black bags though unless they are amazing! plus .. i do not like trend colors ... i like nutral timeless colors....

Those are my two favourite bags! great choice... i'd say for the fendi spy definately go with the white with black straps, i really want that too but its so expensive even compared to chloe. For the Chloe medium paddy, i'd say go for the whiskey or ivory (spring colours) really good versatile colors.

I'm getting a bowler but cant decide in whiskey or cream/ivory, what do you think?

His Angel - 1st site - fake, 2nd site - pics look off and they're quoting wrong (higher) prices for retail, 3rd site - pic looks totally fake. you should really try sticking with the reputable sites/stores that have a track record here rather than trying to find a deal from obscure online sources.
as for the e-bay paddy, this one looks okay except that this seller has also auctions which only shows stock pics which is never a good sign. the bag in question seems to have a NAP tag (which looks legit) still attached to it, so if you get the one in the pic, you may be okay. i'd ask for copies of receipt/papers from NAP though, just to be on the safe side.

the shoulder strap paddy came in mid/reg size only, i think. NAP still has pics up of them and you can see how it looks being worn.

I've been ogling the bag but promised myself to stay away from the ysl thread.. then again i promised myself to stay away from the spy thread and ended up reading all the pages.. wish you smooth moving to hk morriseel, moving can be so stressful

his angel - seriously try boutiques or a reputable ebay seller bc if the lock starts peeling and you haven't got an auth receipt (or bag for that matter.. not sure if fakes peel) you're not going to be a happy camper. some good ebay sellers TFSers have vouched for: leshent, personalshoppers, roz77077(i forget exactly, do a search on this thread?)

Honestly, a better deal will get you a fake. Stick with the retailers. I don't trust ebay unless someone here vouches she bought an authentic bag from a reliable seller, and those sellers almost always mark up and profit from the sale.

I have the brown satchel pictured (minus the shoulder strap). The color is chocolate, and it varies per bag. Mine looks brown with only a hint of red, where others seem to have more red.

Leather textures vary too. The front piece of leather on my chocolate bag is smoother/less textured than the back piece. The back piece is more textured/less smooth, as are the sides. My tan bag has very even texturing throughout. The chocolate looks distessed without wrinkles where the tan has more wrinkles.

I notice all the little nuances that others don't seem to stress over.
