I think since its almost a given that Kane would be taking over the designing of the Versace house,he is trying to get himself into the groove of the house...the garishness of the leather and embroidered flowers is strongly reminiscent of the tacky but attractive Versace of the 90's...
I like it...I'm not sure why, but I do. At first the leather and flowers were a bit :/ to me but after looking at some of the details I actually quite like it.
I agree with whoever said the venue sucks tho. no bueno
I bet someone saw Balenciaga in this,am I right? tfsers finds Balenciaga in everything
Talking about the collection,it looks MUCH better than the SS show, the whole collection is more modern and suitable for a fashionable girl, which I think is Christopher's market target
^actually, I did even though I'm not even the typical tfser [since I know almost nothing about fashion] I think it's the clean cuts and the neckline, I don't know. But I think this is cooler
underage tFS. but yeah, same for McQueen, if someone hasn't brought him up yet, then clock's ticking!.
The entire collection could be the same as last season or the one before last season or all the others he's done, nothing atrocious, I would even get one or two items from it, but an all-dresses/skirts festival can hardly be considered a collection in my book, he changes prints and textures, that's all he seems to be wanting to do, not much different than Rodarte, except Rodarte at least pretends to be experimental, this guy doesn't, he could be Mark Fast for all I know, only with a great casting director, hip stylist and all the cool friends behind him.
