on the topic of apc, i got a gorgeous black wool apc coat today with black leather duffle clasps... its beautiful.... i also picked up some yohji gloves and a yohji hood/hat for the cold weather coming up... and, to stay on topic, a pair of black on black dior high tops from barneys... so so nice.

Edk were you the one looking for the white hi top sneakers with silver rivets? Think you posted a picture of them before.. Just saw a pair going on eBay (slightly used), it's a size 8.5. Here's the link if you're interested.

yea i was, but unfortunately a size 8.5 would be way too small for me as i wear a dior sneaker size 42.5/9.5. thanks a lot for posting those up though, i mean if i was a 8.5 i wouldve been goin nuts.

Blah, after annoyingly searching forever for the bee tie from reflection I just bought it from a seller in japan for 20.00 more than retail. Not upset as I finally have it, but it would have been nice to get a bit of a deal.

Also, I've slimmed down to a 31. I'm looking to get a D pointed belt, what size should I be looking for to get that extra flap?

I agree, if you want to talk about crazy mark ups, let's talk about those arm warmers! The tie was supposed to be more though, but I actually got him down 30 bucks with some elite haggling.

yeah...maybe a 32 if you want to wear em lower, or even a 31 considering they stretch. My biggest pet peeve with Dior jeans is I find them impossible to wear without a belt due to waist stretching...for some reason the fit is never just right in the waist for me, but from there downwards everything is perfect, they just mold to your legs. Does anyone else here have a similar problem with the waist of DH jeans?

Oh man, I'd totally take those if they were a half size smaller. I've been wanting those.

And FTB, I have a few pairs like that, but I also have a few that fit perfectly in the waist.

damn baizilla i have yet to find a pair that fits me that snug in the waist...i have once tried to wear a size 30 but the legs were circulation blocking so i had to go up to a 31 which fits perfect in the legs but gets loose in the waist. Why is DH waist sizing so WEIRD?

Yoox Glitches?

Anyone notice on the yoox search results there was a 3/4 length black wool jacket in three sizes, 38 thru 42, but the record itself indicated it was sold out. Assmuming this was a glitch because I check the site fairly often and had not come across that item. Also, yoox has weird pricing sometimes and the synthetic winter jacket from Luster seems like a case it point. Basically the same as the cotton one listed in the same size, but less than 1/3 the price at 468.00, a steal for that particular jacket. Or maybe that listing is also a mistake.

Ok, I just swung by H&M. I went there to pick up some socks and I found a pretty good copy of the leather jacket that everyone hates there..except in my opinion it is much better in terms of weight and value. I mean, it was 120.00..so I had to pick it up. I also found a VOTC freddy kruger shirt lookalike.

And i don't know if anyone has posted about this, but the issue of Another Man with Kate moss in Dior homme is out. I picked it up, but the spread isn't as exciting as I thought it would be. The clothes weren't fitted to her, so they were baggy and it just seemed like she got lost in Peter Doherty's closet.

This collection is horrendously overrated, its appeal is beyond me...skin tight "skinny" jeans, hats reminicent of a fallen rock and roll junkie and insanley narrow suspenders dont seem to inspire me at all. Contrary to giving me inspiration.. it makes me question the masculinity of mens fashion. Male fashion should not only be for gay men. It should beintended for men that are real men and have a preferance in basics, comfortable clothing and casual garments to wear, with of course, the occasional eccentric peice to intrest their ladies.
