I'm a little annoyed by the Alan Arkin, Little Miss Sunshine nomination. I LOVED the movie and everyone's peformances in it. Alan Arkin,IMO dosen't deserve an oscar for yelling about "nazi bullets" for half of the movie.

I might get scorned for saying this but I feel a bit sorry for Dakota fanning. Yes, I know I shouldn't relate every child star to her but if anyone is deserving of an oscar nod, I would peg it on Dakota fanning but Abigail was awesome in Little Miss Sunshine even if it is one of her first big roles.

Yes, I agree. If it wasn't for Forest, Leo would get the Oscar......this keeps happening to him

I'm soo happy Abigail was nominated; I loved her in LMS. Also happy about Ryan Gosling and Babel. Kinda relieved that Dreamgirls isn't in it for best picture.
However, very dissapointed Brad didn't get nominated.

Penelope is great actress, no doubts, but I was a bit surprised to see her among nominees. But anyway, Mirren or Streep will probably win.

I agree. He was nominated TWICE at GG awards for 'Best Actor' and got NOTHING... I was disappointed

The youngest is actually Justin Henry, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Kramer vs. Kramer in 1980 when he was only 8 years old.
