Favorite Harry Potter Book?

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" was my favorite. I can't wait for the sixth book! I already pre-ordered it on Amazon.com!

I like them better and better as we go along, but I'll have to say that I find it rather hard to take the books out of context and judge them individually...

(WARNING: SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The Prisoner of Azkaban. Sirius was my favorite character, it's just too bad that he had to die in the last one.

The first one because that's how the story starts...

Yeah that was my favourite one as well. It really annoyed me that Rowling killed Sirius off; he was such a great character.

The Prisoner of Azkaban, by far. Sirius was my favourite character as well.

none, never read one , just saw the first movie.. was enough HP for me :ninja:

^ The books are better than the movies imho. Funny and character driven. Of course it's light reading but still fun.

Exactly. There's a rumor that he'll resurface in book 7. I'm a-crossing my fingers. Hard to decide which is my favourite now, I think it's a tie between Prisoner of Azkaban and the Half Blood Prince.

i loved the fourth the best, up until the very ending, which was extremly rushed.

the third is great too.

but the fifth sucked, j.k totally changed harrys character so i didnt feel as if he was the same person anymore. it pissed me off.
I dare concur. On a side note, I've been an avid Snape fan throughout.. :ninja:

The fifth was terrible, but I read Half Blood Prince last night and I LOVED IT! I just don't think i'll be patient enough to wait for the seventh one, I wonder when it will come out!?

2007 apparently - I've started reading the sixth (after having the ending told to me against my wishes before hand) and it's fun, but I shirking from reading the end - I don't want what I know will happen to happen (lol if that makes any sense  )

yes, tiffany i know what you mean.. i accidentally turned to a page, glanced at it... and it was the page which gave away the ending.. yikes... so the whole time i'm thinking "nooooooooo i don't want to get to it"..

... i thought the love angles rowling took were a bit.. much :innocent:
