Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows *Warning - Thread WILL Contain Spoilers*

^ I know, I wish she had just spent a little more time on the book and included everything, and elaborated more on deaths and stuff.

I'm rereading and I just got to the part where Fred is describing how his wedding is going to be...

^ I know, I wish she had just spent a little more time on the book and included everything, and elaborated more on deaths and stuff.

But that would have deteriorated the literary value. ;)

The way shes answering questions, we won't need an encyclopedia!

Emma Watsons opinion on DH:

I just finished The Deathly Hallows - which I couldn't put down . . The trio survived!!!! And Hermione and Ron got married and had babies !! woop woop!! I feel quite bad being so happy about that, because there were so many other deaths . .

Dobby's death was horrific and actually brought me to tears. . . Well a lot of things did, actually!!

Oh dear. Anyway, all in all, what an amazing way to end the series.

She said she will write the Encyclopedia, but it'll take years. So we can't obsess with a deadline, is all more annoying. :p

I read there was mention of two books--what's the other one, do you know? I think the encyclopedia is a great idea. I wish I had one for Pride & Prejudice. All her life Jane talked about the characters ... but no one wrote it all down :p

^ I did not know that. Oh man, now I'm going to be all curious again!
And I don't think she's mentioned what the new book's about. She's taking some time off now, so maybe it's more of a project. And I believe I read it hasn't anything to do with magic, though.

some funny parts of the book were when ron and hermione are kissing before they try to find the diadem and harry yells out "do you think you can hold it in until we find the horcrux?"

and also when aberforth tells ron "with brains like that, you could be a death eater, son"

If you could save one character (who is still alive at the end of DH) who would it be?
And if you could bring one character back from the dead who would you choose?

^ Um, Lupin, Tonks, Snape and of course Sirius! I can't belive they are all gone!
It was a bloody brilliant read though.

If I could bring back one character from the dead, it would be Lily Evans-Potter. Harry needs a mommy! ^_^

If it was one that was alive and well through part of the series, it would be Sirius. Cause if Harry dosen't have a daddy or mommy, at the very least he could have a godfather.

I uh..tend to pretend Fred's not dead  *shuns and rejects the idea*

I wasn't surprised the Lupin died, to be honest. When Sirius died in the 5th book, I did a mental count of the remaining Mauraders and realized that she will probably wipe them all out by the end of the novel.

Now (with the exception Peter), the best friends will be together again! :D

I would definately keep Sirius. And would probably bring back Fred, as Fred and George are practically one person.

@ Uchina Awww ...

I wanted Fred to live so he could marry Angelina Johnson and have cute little qudditch playin' babies.

I have to say, George was always my favorite twin.

If you read the books carefully, they do have differences. George talked less, while Fred seemed more outspoken and brazen. For that reason I always favored George.

Although they were always best when they were together. Their jokes in the 7th book especially.

yeah I loved their jokes. Thats what really upset me about Fred's death. The loss of a twin when they were so close. That's also what made me practically sob when I was reading harry march to his death i was like 'he'll never see ginny again! Thats so unfair' hahaha i'm so melodramatic!
