Thought you guys might enjoy this article on Goyard bags. I'm in love with them but not gutsy to walk w/ a high quality rep in public. What do YOU guys think of Goyard? It's become one of the top "must-have" bags in NY...

I have read that article before and I didn't really know much about them before that. I saw my first Goyard in public at the Four Seasons a few weeks ago (well, I assume it was real, but after all I was there too, with a rep LV).
I think it is an exorbitant amount of money to pay for a canvas bag, handpainted or not! I am not a fan of totes so I really like the Jeanne for some reason. Something about it reminds me of a Barbie doll? I don't know why. I would consider that one for sure, but in what colour I don't know-maybe that pinky-peach colour. In fact, it's already on my "spreadsheet".

I'll also measure it.....it is the most I have spent on a replica bag and is most probably the most I would spend, but I'm a sucker for snakeskin, an I honestly don't think anyone would be disappointed with this bag, it is really good quality leather and pretty versatile

seconding those who want a white Wang Brenda...my poor vintage chanel clutch is getting worn out. I am enamoured with the washed grey too. I may get the beige for now and keep my fingers crossed for other colours, I may aswell treat myself, i'm not going on holiday this summer....(I can justify anything!! )

had anybody ever purchased a hermes clic-clac rep?

I bought one from Catty and compared it to my authentic ones. The part that clicks to catch the two ends together isn't as sturdy but once the H part closes down you don't notice it. Also make sure you ask your supplier about sizing before you order. I know she carries the PM size, not sure about the GM.

Did T&D ever make the Argent in the Day GSH style, or did it just sell out?

I wanted the Day in GSH, but they said there wasn't enough interest & that I could get it if I rounded up enough girls. I ordered the Day bag with RH, but think I want to switch to a City or Part Time.

It doesn't necessarily mean anything. I've had bag handed over and then released the same day.

well it does have to go through customs in order to get to you. i wouldn't worry yet.

for those receiving t&d bal bags and being less than enthused, i really encourage you to see/feel/try-on auth bal bags before buying. there is something about bal bags (real or fake) that makes such a difference once you see it on yourself. bags i've loved online have been a total miss for me irl and bags i never could have seen myself wearing i ended up buying and using day in, day out. just a suggestion so you're completely satisfied with what you get.

Nope. The bag arrived unmolested and untaxed each time.

Usually it takes a day or so to "clear" customs & then it should read "released" from customs.
