btw anyone who bought the GGH from T&D, how's the gold hardware? Is the gold color still good and color not tarnish?

I bought a GGH black city from T&D late last year. I like the GGH, as it makes the black city really stand out. However, the GGH adds quite a bit of weight to the bag so I can't stuff too much stuff into the city or I'll end up with aching shoulders. I've not used it much, so I can't say for sure whether it'll tarnish in time to come. So far, it's fine.

I also bought a ggh from t&d over the summer. It took 3 bags before I got one without tarnished hardware---however I must say T&D were excellent about refunding my shipping to send the bags back to China.

The hardware they used wasn't the same as the auth, it's hard to describe or capture in a pic but it was lighter and didn't have the same type of finish. However, I don't think one would be able to tell if just passing by on the street or something.

i'm a RH girl too. I have one GSH bag, a hobo, but it's not a t&d bag. it's the only GH bag i feel i can "pull off". great size, style, easy on the shoulder. t&d REALLY need to do this style!

im a rh girl too. but i got a black city gsh once, loved it...but the gsh was too flashy for me so i sold it.
nbf's gh is lighter weight than the auth.

i think what she means is that certain colors look better with the giant hardware than others...
a friend of mine has an 07 anthracite with GGH that is gorgeous...
i don't think the lighter colors (like bubblegum) look as good with giant hardware...
