Photos of my bags from T&D!
Hi ladies, just to share with everyone the purchases I made last year from T&D! I bought a GGH Black City and a Magenta First.
Here's my review of the GGH Black City. The bag was very, very shiny and 'crackly' when it first arrived. I didn't like the shiny look of the bag (if you look at T&D's pics of the GGH Black City on their web page, you'll know what I mean). Hence, I decided to apply leather wax on it to take away the shine and make it softer. The bag was also rather dry and I spotted some areas that seemed to be in danger of 'cracking' or splitting. Thankfully, the leather wax worked its magic and the bag is much softer now. This is how the bag looks now after intensive application of the leather wax over a week :
The Magenta First was not as shiny and 'crackly' compared to the GGH Black City when it arrived. There wasn't actually any need for me to apply the leather wax, but I did it any way to soften the bag. This is how the Magenta First now looks like after I applied a light layer of leather wax :
Last but not least, this was the leather wax I used on both bags. It's from Australia and costs about $8 per tin. A kind friend gave it to me as a gift. Although the wax is quite tedious and disgustingly sticky during application, a little really goes a long way, so I'll still be using it on my future bags.

The vintage xl should be done in 2-3 weeks. I'm trying my very hardest to be patient!
