I was debating the beige Wang brenda bag but I have since fell in love the the new A/W 09 colours of the bags, does Jacky take requests? like if he gets enough interest in a bag off people will be produce it? the washed grey colour is AMAZING!

Reading through the thread it is obviously the general concensus that TnD's Bal bags are the absolute best. I've never been into the bags until recently and they do not appear to have any pictures showing or any offered for sale at the moment.

Can all you Bal Bag Experts please tell me if jacky's or catty's are an acceptable alternative and who is better?

Or should I simply wait for TnD? to be honest I wouldn't even know what to order....

Please advice.

malena - i got the gold. i'd wanted it for awhile, but couldn't settle on the rest of the order and before i knew it, it went on sale, so i pounced. i had to because i'd already missed out the patent easy, which jacky never brought back. that seems to happen with a lot of bags i want from him...i guess i don't like what's super popular.

Wow, that sounds like a great summer bag, I'm sure it will look gorgeous on you. I imagine big sunglasses, a hat... Very nice B) Did you get anything else, like a scarf or sth?

Hey Funkyshow, in my honest opinion you should invest in a TnD rather then purchase one from Catty or Jacky. I've ordered one from Jacky before (on behalf of someone else) and it looks bad compared to my own TnD ones. There's a lot of flaws from the bale to the braiding on the handles (way toooo far apart and sparse!).

Wait and pay more for a TnD, it's worth it.

I wished i could post pics but my camera's down! The Argent leather is TO DIE FOR. It's the best ever so far IMHO. It's super thick, veiny and smooshy but still retains the shape of the bag. It's also not shiny at all and matte! It looks like what the Vert Deau bags looked like based on pics posted on the forum!

I'm so so so very happy with it! And it also doesn't look like NBF's stock pictures but it looks very much like the authentic pictures you girls posted. The color is a very even light grey and the edges are just fine. Also the bag's considerably heavier as the leather is a lot thicker like I said.

I'm so glad I preordered this!

Sooo freaking excited right now. T&D just emailed me. They're shipping argent and amethyst separately. They said one was shipped out already they're not sure which one and the other will ship tomorrow or the next day. Eeeek!!

Me tooooooooooo!! But they haven't emailed me, I will email them right now and see what the shipping arrangement will be because I ordered Amethyst and Anthracite bags as well.

king6208: i've got thin black and thick grey clic clac bracelet, both in silver. the thin one is so small, people might not even notice it's Hermes. I gave both to my sis coz I dont really like them. Get the thick one if you really want it..anyway, u might wanna check in other thread for accessories, coz this thread is for handbags discussion.

thanks MaLena, that LV scarf is actually an authentic one from the first Stephen Sprouse collaboration they did about 3 years ago.....I absolutely it, but its just too small to wear, I like things oversized, so I tend to just tie it onto my bags.

And for whoever is interested, I emailed Jacky about the new A/W wang Brenda colours, he said he will definitely do the chocolate, maybe the washed grey (I am DESPERATE for that) now I can't decide whether to wait for those or get the beige....hmmmmm

i agree. the grey is amazing.

I'm definitely buying the brenda bag. I'm waiting to see how the denim version turns out first before i decide between the denim and the black.


anyone from Singapore making an order from Jacky soon? i only wanted to get 1 item and i didn't feel like forking out the extra $30. so group order of minimum 5 items anyone?
