It's pretty clear how much thicker the current leather is, compared to the old, thin leather.

Yeah, FangFang's stuff is pricey. I haven't bought from her, just browsed, but the quality looks really good and all of her items are professionally pictured and uniform, so, I would assume legit as well. I've also asked her a few questions and she was so nice and speaks very well. She even went out of her way to find/post HER own pictures of a specific bag I was looking for (in the same manner as the rest).

Okay, so, I'm having trouble deciding what I want! I only need one new bag and maybe a small evening-like clutch/wallet. The problem is, I don't know what the most practical bag is to get right now and I also would like some new Jeffrey Campbells. Please help me decide!

A. CHANEL reissue w/sh from Jacky (Black Lambskin
Con: I currently own some authentic Chanel, but can't get them at the moment (broke college student/bad economy). My biggest fear is that nothing could even pass... I'm a perfectionist and want things to look spot on! I.E. perfect stitching, structure, hardware etc.

Pro: I've wanted a reissue/mademoiselle for a long time, because they are subtle yet beautiful.

B. CHANEL Vintage Jumbo XL from Jacky (Black Lambskin
Con: Might be too big for all evening occasions and I don't like that it doesn't have the same structure as the authentic (flat base and structured enveloping sides).

Pro: Would be a beautiful addition, which would complete my Chanel collection, size and date-wise.

C. Alexander Wang Coco Duffle from Jacky (Black)
Con: Too much "it" bag factor and I maybe moving to NYC soon. I've loved the bag as soon as it hit the runway. But keep in mind that I do already own a black studded bag as it is.

Pro: So cute. Epitomizes/ complements my style.

D. CHANEL Large Soft & Chain (606) Custom died a certain shade of blue from Catty: Lambskin
Con: Not evening friendly or typical timeless Chanel.

Pro: Very unique and if I get this I can also get her red wallet on a chain as my evening bag.

I checked out the photos and asked him some questions.
It's expensive and the photos are inconsistent so its holding me back from the transaction.

I heard that the Wang duffel was very heavy empty..something to think about..good luck in your choice.

yes, i see what you mean, there needs to be more pics of the hardware (not just the tag)...
and they never made one that blue (leather)...it's more of a navy...

crazyc- that's so cute of your son! how sweet of the little guy

sanitized fashion- i did buy the coco duffel off catty, and it was so heavy for me. if you are concerned with weight then i would pass on this bag, especially since you have other studded black bags. it is so heavy without anything in it and there is no shoulder strap. i found myself literally putting the bag down if i ever went out with it and stood somewhere for awhile!

Rodarte- Great diego bag! is it heavy like the coco? there aren't that many studs on it and the leather looks so good.. would love to see a mod pic pretty please?!

FYI the auth 2nd generation Wang Coco duffels are supposed to be a lot lighter. Would be nice if the replica's followed suit.

I understand you want every detail to be perfect (I am very much the same way with my reps-verrry AR when it comes to the look, quality and feel of things), but I think if you are expecting a rep to be as 'perfect' as the auth then rep buying is maybe not for you.

The preferred vendors discussed in this forum do a great job of replicating the look, feel, weight, zips, leather, hardware etc of the original but there is always going to be some detail that isn't correct (HW too yellow, too light, wrong shape, not metal, wrong zipper, wrong serial number, wrong font, too shiny, too matte, not lined up perfect, stitching wrong color, etc). That is what makes a rep a rep and not an auth bag.

Sometimes these vendors get it spot on, but sometimes they don't-("close but no cigar" colors on balenciagas, bal bags that were cut too short, measurements wrong on the python paraty, the 'sun' symbol on jacky's vintage XL, great leather and HW on the outside but the wrong color lining, LV trim that isn't leather-you get the idea). Some of us don't buy because of it, but it doesn't matter to others and they buy because they like the bag and it does not make a difference one way or the other. It's something they can live with.

If you can live with these differences, that's great-that is what most of us do here-but please remember that there is always going to be 'something off' on every rep, and it sounds like that might drive you a little nuts, KWIM?

Oh and that being said above you may want to consider the timeless clutch from jacky in caviar-everyone who has it says it looks pretty auth. I have it in the black patent and it is delicious-holds a lot and is pretty dressy but can be dressed down, too. I love it!

Everyone seems to think the caviar leather is the safest bet from jacky but he still has some details that are not perfect. I have his silver metallic 2.55, timeless clutch patent, and jumbo xl in black lambskin.

'New Feel Soft Moisturizer' smell so good
My LMB arrived today, I ordered "for handles only', 'Luxury Cleanser', 'New Feel Soft Moist.' and 'Pro- treatment'
They all smell nice used them all today, but my favorite smell is the Moisturizer
No more smelly T&D bags, my bags smell like flowers now
