marine was from pre-spring 07 and done again in f/w 08 (and called midnight), officier is from s/s 09...

are you talking about the moscow bags (the broken mirror motif)? i want this bag as well. i'm kind of over big bags, so i wish it were smaller, but i may do it anyway.

in the pics lana posted i thought the difference was very apparent. i was shocked at how different the handles were, but now seeing just one handle, i really couldn't tell you what was right or wrong about it. i looked at my own bags and i forgot what i was even looking for.

Just wondering whether the sequins are likely to stay on? Depends on how they're replicated i guess..

Haha I really liked NBF's pic of the Argent so I was disappointed when I got the argent PT RH as it turned out to be darker... (my laptop bag is the exact same shade so I didn't want my argent to match my apple laptop bag!)

I think the Praline pics don't do it justice and it may turn out closer to the auth ones... also Praline looks super cute with GGH. I would so jump on it if I wasn't craving a dark color right now.

I read on tpf that officer is darker than marine....idk if it's true or not. I just know I love marine. The GGH on my Brief sets off the blue tones of the anthra beautifully. I can only imagine how good GGH would look on a deep navy! My only dilemma is what style? Brief or PT???

So is anyone getting an AG WE?

HI oopsnow!! Haha! I know, right? When I saw this #3 thread, I at first thought it was an NBF only thread. The first 10 pages or so is pure bbag talk!

Beside my beloved turq, I'm not thrilled with this round of colors either. I just don't like pastel (with the exception of mint green) colors. And I love love love my ivory Mahina so I don't need a creamy colored bag.

So is anyone going to order anything from Jacky or Catty? We can talk about them too!!

I was checking out Beausac's Birkins and decided that I def want one over the Kelly. IMO, the Kelly looks a lot like a briefcase so unless you get a bright, fun color, it's a little too plain for me. I really just want a 40cm black togo with gold HW. Something about how chic they look when being carried open...I love it! And as much as I adore my perfectly broken in bbags, there is something to be said for a structured bag.....I definitely need a Birkin. It's going to be a Christmas pressie so I have time to save and plan. If anyone here has bought from OMAS please please PM me!

ohhhhhmy: the string on your handles are tied a little too closely together but they don't look too bad

if you look at the turq and praline comparison pics that socaligurl80 posted, there's a MUCH bigger difference in the handles. They're bound together with double string and are done too closely together. Also, on the turq, it looks like with the authentic the string/rope used is a little bit lighter than the actual leather whereas T&D seems to have done theirs with a darker colour.

But these comparison pics are not right, GH bags are supposed to have the double string, RH have a single strip of rope. So, those two are not right to compare.

I recieved my precious AW Brenda from Catty today. She uses the same factory as Jacky for this one, which several of you sweet posters have said. And I must say it's ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!
I actually looked at an authentic one two days ago and this morning when I recieved mine, I really couldn't see any difference! AMAZING leather, super super soft - even softer than my Nightingale from Jacky - and the details look spot on. I got the black one, since I really needed a smaller black bag. I will post pictures tomorrow!

Let's just hope that our Praline stuff will turn out so hot that we can gloat to those who gloated at how they will be passing on Praline this time round...
