I just received a white Chanel rodeo drive from Catty and the quality is merely something like pleather, actually worse than pleather... it's so stiff and bleh. I'll post pics tomorrow but it may make my mom feel more depressed about it since I got it for her! When I asked Catty if I could exchange it for a black Chanel rodeo drive (the day I received it), she said SORRY we are out of stock. But 5 days before that she was willing to send me 5 pics of it and everything... oh well.. she could've just said "no exchanges sorry" haha.

Anyway I have a white Chanel flap from Catty and I get compliments on it all the time but it screams super fake to me.. I only use it at night when people are too intoxicated to tell what purse I'm using

Also T&D's bals are more fun to talk about in this thread.. not sure why.. they're addictinggggg... I may need another black city since mine is so beaten up from 2 years of daily use. I spilled some sugary drink on it yesterday and it survived!!!

Hello my dear girls, I'm finally back from London with my loot

So, I will post pics today. I got Argent GSH City, Anthracite GGH Brief, Lilac First, J's purple Balenciaga and my friend got Jacky's 30 Black Birkin with GH and a Miu Miu Bow in tan. I'll post pics of all of them later today

Oh, I missed the Amethyst GSH City , I think it will arrive this week... However, as I have already said, I would like to swap it for an Amethyst Twiggy.

I certainly now have the confidence to buy those colours from Jacky. I have compared the Tourquise and Jacky's is certainly much lighter, but it'll pass, and I think his Tan lambskin is spot on to the Darker Beige Caviar you posted. I aslo love the Coral colour and will be getting that as well.

Babybluestar I am also very particular about my Chanels. I have quiet a few authetic bought over several years, and tend to buy at least one each season so I have few to compare Jacky's with. I am also of the opinion that without a doubt Jacky's Chanels are the best I've seen. I have ordered a few from Catty and think they are hit and miss. That said TrendHaven said Francis TSE Chanels are better, but i've never bought from him before.

Buying from Jacky gives me the option to have Chanel bag on my arm almost everyday and for the price you pay you really cannot go wrong!!

Horay for Jacky, the Chanel Sweet Pink bag I've been waiting for forever has just been posted. I feel so sorry for my bank account this month, Oh God help me!!

So, here is the report...

First, the Argent City GSH and Anthracite Brief GGH. I must say these bags are near perfect, the leather is divine, smooshy and thick , the Anthracite is a bit more distressed and veiny and I think this goes with the colour and style perfectly. Tha Anthra definitely has blue undertones, although I simply wasn't able to catch this in the pics. Under some lightings it looks almost very dark navy.








The Lilac First is beautiful on the outside, the colour is lovely, the leather is a bit dryer than the one on Anthracite and Argent, but it is still very nice as we know auths vary a lot as well. However, the guys completely messed up the inside of the bag. The inside pocket is stitched on the outside so you can see the edges, this is all wrong. Moreover, they attached a strip of the leather to the inner part of the pocket as well, which is also wrong. The strip should only be inside the outer pocket of the bag. I am a bit bothered by all of this , but I guess the outside of the bag is what counts





These were TnD's bags, I'll continue with Jacky's in my next post.

Oh, I went to a Bal boutique to check out auth GH Cities and what caught my eye was the size of the ring connecting the strap to the bag. TnD's ring is too big and a bit too thick, it should look more like the one on J's Bal. That's the only thing I noticed

Overall how would you rate your Bal bag in comparison to Jacky's, espcially cos you have a covered from Jacky and apparently T&D don't do covered cos it's not popular on here.

Hmmmmmmmm, after wearing NBF Bals, I must say that I would never go back to J's, yes his rings are better, but everything else is better on an NBF: the leather, the hardware, the measurements, everything. So, aside from the occasional mistakes they make (the handles, the inside pocket, the rings), theirs are far superior to all other reps out there. Just my 2 cents.

Oh man...glad I'm not the only one who gets nervous when the Postal Worker brings my package and I think my hubster is going to commit me!! Hahaha. Oh well, if he does, I'll escape to China and pick mm07 up in Aussie on the way (or out of the way). We'll be T&D's lackeys! FunkyShow: I'm a big ole Chanel lover....but I feel like most Chanel reps are easier to spot and harder to get right. I'm VERY selective about my Chanels and only order from Jacky (and after having them "fauxthenticated" by someone who knows Chanel well). I will say that all my Chanels (from Jacky) I'm very pleased with! NBF's bags are (as bby stated so well) a steal! You're getting an italian leather bag. I can't get a bag of similar quality for the price. Even though it's a rep bag, it's worth more to me than an auth LV canvas (translation: plastic) bag. So I guess that's what it is for me. But I also love my Chanel and LV!

Yeah, he has fixed it, the strap is detachable, it was in the inner pocket of the bag, I forgot to attach it for the pics. The leather is nice, I would say it is something between thin and thick , but rather soft, not stiff.

Oh, and xooey, when you put the Brief and City side by side, the Brief in reality isn't that much bigger, but it really feels and looks big. I guess it's because it is longer and narrow/flat, which makes it stretch entirely when worn, whereas the City slouches a bit because it is wide at the base.

I am wondering why do you ladies love the Brief so much? I tried it on at the boutique last time, and I felt that the shape is too thin, there is no base at all, that putting my stuff inside the bag would distort the shape of the bag..

Chelsita Did you ever get an answer to this question? In my recent trips to Chanel, both this season and last season, I must admit that I did not come accross any of those colours. I also know that Chanel does a Beige and not Tan. Could any of you Chanel experts please chime in.

I posted about this in the old thread when Jacky first put up the coral. Chanel did do the coral color at one point. Last I saw was about 3 years ago? but it's been so long and without pictures I can't say for sure how close the color is, but from what I remember it's quite similar.
