MsMelissa71: Out of respect for the fact that bagswap is a private forum and this one is very public, I think we shouldn't mention the member name of who sold a bag. If they choose to mention it that's fine, otherwise, it should be kept private. I know that I don't want my transactions being mentioned here. I'm truly saying this as a friendly suggestion and hope it'll be taken that way.

Sooooo, my NBF bags will be shipped on Monday. There was a random (and totally unnecessary) holdup but it's been resolved so after the holiday my bags will be on their way to me!!!!

babybluestar, i truly love my new Black Work GGH. i'm already contemplating adding a Black Work GSH to my collection.. both of them can be my staple pieces!!

I think bbs meant it in the sense that it is clearly written in the rules that there will be absolutely no transactions on TFS. As in NO selling allowed.
I think if you want to purchase bags from a member, it should be kept private. I purchased a new-to-me Brief this year but I'm not going to post from whom I received it.

I would definitely agree with you in terms of the actual regular sellers, like Catty or Jacky who would want to be advertised and get more customers, but I think babybluestar and shelleybean are referring to the private Bagswap transactions, whose sellers might not necessary want their dealings to be posted onto the forum for everyone to see.

I hope I am able to go! I literally just blogged today about my balenciaga/chanel shopping trip to Bergdorf's! (no, i didn't buy anything but you know, did research tee heeninja:

The Balenciaga's seemed so.. crispy. but I think I kinda like a crispier leather bbag like the recent photos of someone's Framboise PT posted up on here.
Did fall in love with a large Chanel flap royal blue (looked purple in some lights) in caviar with gold hw. Anyone seen a nice copy? Instantly reminded me of how lovely a marine with GGH bbag would look... (btw, the fun shopgirls were cool enough to take pictures of me wearing it! I wouldn't let them unlock the security strap though - it felt too dangerous [to my credit card!])

I didn't even notice the security wire in the picture. I totally thought that was your bag! BTW, I'm pretty sure Jacky has the Jumbo XL? in both caviar and lambskin. Not sure which size you tried on, it looks smaller than the jumbo maybe but I'm certain I know more about galactic nuclei than Chanel.

Now that I think about it, I'm literally tethered to the Chanel boutique hahah.. I tried that bag on 4 times when I was there. When I'm rich I'm giving all my commission to those refreshingly cool shopgirls!
