To anyone who has the LV Sofia Coppola bag, is it suitable as an overnight bag or a carry-on bag? I've been looking for a small travel bag and thought this could be it. I emailed Jacky to see if it would come back in stock. I'm hoping it does.

oooh hope jacky will get it back in stock. since he was soldout i asked catty for more pics but the pics she sent were kinda blurry so i couldn't really see the quality of the leather. was hoping it was like jacky's. she now has the dark blue back in stock (also in black).

i think it could work as a small travel bag as the strap is great for that. but probably depends on what you normally carry.

i have a speedy 40 and it's a bit too big for me for daily use (it's approx 15.5") but would work great as a travel bag but too bad no strap. a speedy 35 is approx 14" and the SC is 14.3".

chicadee thanks! if you want something more sturdy, i would go for the prada antik cervo. it is so wonderful! i even carried my dog in it, lol. he's only 10lbs, really small but he had fun in there for a bit. it's not heavy at all and it probably takes about 4 days or so to break in a little bit. the shoulder strap is already getting supple and the rest of the bag is too the leather is just nice to touch, not plasticky like calfskin. i think it's really worth the money. of course it's no NBF leather but it has a lot of texture and it exceeded my expectations. i have bought other bags from catty and the leather has been icky calfskin. i have no cons whatsoever about this bag! the handles are perfect and i love the longer strap just as much. i don't have the ps1 so i can't compare though oh, i also don't think it's heavy but if you are used to carrying an RH city that is barely full, this will be heavier.

seacarousels, I have the SC bag from J and I'm absolutely in love, but I'm not sure if this bag would be suitable for travel bag..It's very much like speedy bag so u have rough idea how big the bag is. Like chicadee said, it depends what u normally carry for overnight bag. I think Jacky still makes this bag so dont worry.

Pinkprincess - thanks for the info!!!! sounds like the PERFECT everyday bag that you can just lug around. the "not plasticky..." was exactly what i was wondering. and just one more question - is it a heavy bag? i am SO fearful of heavy bags. i actually got backaches from carrying heavy bags...totally trying to avoid those for any future purchases

Nope! They're totally different and serve different purposes. Nice choices you've got there. I can't make up my mind over new bag purchases either, there are just too many choices and it doesn't help that I am a broke college student .

Haha Not yet, Jacky sent me xtra scews as I had mentioned that I would like them, so IF it happens I am prepared
And the leather is SO GOOD this bag which is my first Jacky purchase has made me realize what all the Jacky hoopla is about, This leather is a close 2nd to my NBF bags, I have seen and touched an authentic PS1 at Barneys, and I have to say his version is pretty damn good

i'm still not loving this bag.. but when i need a nice cross-body bag, my PS1 will be it. i still feel it's heavy on my arm.

I like the BV satchel and roma bag on J's site.
I see the Roma on the BV site, the hardware is a little darker but all in all it looks good.
