just received an amethyst RH city. it looks more purple-ish than my RH day that i received last week. i'm a bit confused. and the strap is really short. shorter than my RH black city.. i guess i need to start carrying heavy things in it so it can stretch!

Hello... new member here. I've been reading and reading and reading.. and looking at pictures, mostly of balenciaga. I have never purchased a rep bag. And all of the rep bags that I have seen in person have appeared very cheap and fake. Some advice from those who own both auth & rep would be appreciated....
The leathers in the pictures look rather lovely. However, I note that not many of the details are shown in most of the pictures posted.
In comparing the auth bag & rep Bal, are they comparable in the workmanship of the details? I do not want to own a bag that looks obviously fake. It seems from my studies here that T&D produce the better Bal rep?

I do apologize for so many questions. Any advice or assistance would be lovely! Thank you in advance!

Lol I guess they chose the right person to do that piece on fake bags then! She probably knows her stuff.
I agree, that's really gutsy of her to carry around her fake Birkin everywhere... Especially since she tries so very hard to be in the public eye at all times.

Umm sorry for spamming the thread.. But I just got a reply from Jacky and I'm kind of upset.

me: Hi jacky, I don't know if you remember me, but I bought a chanel jumbo flap from you two years ago in caviar... The bag came super squished in the mail and it was creased permanently on the bottom right corner So i had to give it away. This time, do you think you can pick me a bag that looks super *straight*, the bottom and sides must be straight. And when you pack it to mail over, can you stuff the inside FULL and the outside with good protective layer like bubble wrap so that it will not be squished up?? I am willing to pay more for this extra care, i just dont want ANY scratches, any marks, or crease/wrinkles on the bag AT ALL. Thank you!

Wow... When I contacted him in the past about the other bag that was squished he offered to refund me if I mailed it back and he said he would mail out another one that would be packaged better...But I said no thanks it's ok. But now two years after that he tells me to cancel my order when I ask him to please wrap it nicely... :'(

no offense but if u didnt put the first part about 2 years go, just ask him to pick one with straight sides and stuff it carefully, he will do it as he's done for me many time without additional charges. and i've heard him telling people not to order quite often

Aw you're welcome parkmin, it was my pleasure. It was hardly a fashion show though, haha. I ended up going to the library afterward to pick up some language books and the Weekender came in handy to hold all that stuff!! I hope you like your first WE as well. Hope T&D ship it to you soon

maraschin0 i think Jacky may have misunderstood you? Maybe he thought you wanted him to "MAKE" one that's with flat sides. Maybe rephrase and say, I have no problem with your quality, could you just pick a bag with flatter sides...etc and pls stuff the bag... ? I find that his english isn't that well so he misunderstands quite a lot, sometimes coming across as rude.
