this are is purely bal territory. I have 2 handbag hanging things from bed bath and beyond, they work very well
coleyx3 i agree with thesiren, after looking at jackys pics seems that something is off with the shape and the painting edging on some of the sides are neat. our search continues...

I love them all, and rotate and change a lot to get use and my moneys worth..some do not make it out tho

Umm sorry for spamming the thread..But I just got a reply from Jacky and I'm kind of upset.
me: Hi jacky, I don't know if you remember me, but I bought a chanel jumbo flap from you two years ago in caviar... The bag came super squished in the mail and it was creased permanently on the bottom right cornerSo i had to give it away. This time, do you think you can pick me a bag that looks super *straight*, the bottom and sides must be straight. And when you pack it to mail over, can you stuff the inside FULL and the outside with good protective layer like bubble wrap so that it will not be squished up?? I am willing to pay more for this extra care, i just dont want ANY scratches, any marks, or crease/wrinkles on the bag AT ALL. Thank you!
and he wrote :
No, please cancel order, we can't make better. Thanks!
Wow...When I contacted him in the past about the other bag that was squished he offered to refund me if I mailed it back and he said he would mail out another one that would be packaged better...But I said no thanks it's ok. But now two years after that he tells me to cancel my order when I ask him to please wrap it nicely... :'(

Sanitizedfashion- I stayed in Atlanta (Buckhead) on and off working in 2000-2005 and I used to go to Phipps and Lennox regulalyas I was staying in the Ritz carlton opposite the Malls...do you know where I mean?
There was a Hermes shop there at the time, i bought my double strap cape cod watch there, i think it was Lennox...And i never saw a Birkin in Buckhead either...lots of LV and Coach...is it still that way?
All I know is I spent a lot of money in those 2 Malls..the stores there were AMAZING!
Re- Python PS1-If you feel comfortable, E mail him politley (you know what he's like) and send him the authentic pic and ask him to change the hardware to black, maybe that will encourage him to do it, it seems ashame that a great bag is going to go to waste because of the HW that can I assume be rectified.
100mph I have never seen a bal wallet up close either, i just trust T&D at this pointBut maybe one of our lovely members has one (or knows) and could give us the skinny on it
See Goddessh already helped us...Thanks Goddessh![]()
and yes, it's still a coach kind of place. lots of fake LV speedys.... seems to be the most popular bag in the city so although i love them, I tend to stay away from those bags!
because I asked one to many questions.I compared him to the character in Seinfeld..the soup nazi
I did love Buckhead tho, I had a great time being there.haha...that Jacky...don't take it personally Allyn, he actually refunded money of mine before I finally was able to buy the PS1 this monthbecause I asked one to many questions.I compared him to the character in Seinfeld..the soup nazi

i can't carry a rep birkin, i just can't pull it off...
i think a DM one would be more my speed, i don't want hub's boss to think i would carry a real one...with my luck i'd run into him and his wife, and she'd know exactly what it is
You know what, I thought that too, for a time. For various reasons, it seems unlikely that I would own a Birk. But I guess seeing people fit the Birk into a casual lifestyle and seeing ladies on TOF (that other forum) scrimp, pinch and save to make their purchase made me realize that the bag really isn't all that unattainable. I just can't imagine spending that much on a bag. That could pay off my car, go into some investments or be used to go back to school with. So in that respect, that kind of purchase doesn't seem sensible to me.

In fact, the only bag I KNOW for certain I can't pull off is the classic flap and jumbo Chanel. Not because I couldn't dress it up and make it work - I just don't like it.
