Oh and while we're on the repeat peformance post's..if David Letterman ever did a FS list it would read like this....
1) I'm a long time lurker on this thread and finally got invited - can you tell me who has the best bbag rep? (aka:Who does the best Bal reps?)
2) Who are T&D? Can someone pm me their website?
3) Whose LVs are better..jackys or cattys
4) Can I please have jacky/catty's website although i have zero posts
5) Who makes the best chanel jumbo gumbo flappy whappy bag?
6) What laundry detergent does BY use? I have to get me some
7) OMG i couldn't get onto jacky's site for one second - did he change it?

Someone asked on their ioffer page for a photo of the sandstone wallet and they said that they aren't made yet. It looks like the wallets are pre-order right now. I stopped pre-ordering from them after waiting almost 6 months for my black city. Looks like I will be waiting for them to have the wallets in hand. I'll take my chances.

This is so true. Prepaid doesn't guarantee you receive the bags/wallets at the first hand.

What an arbitrary amount to pay for customs! I would have been terrified that they discovered it was a rep and seized it... luckily they didn't!

Yes, it was a strange amount to pay. The thing is, I don't think the customs officers can tell what's real and what's not. *somehow customs officers and post office employees are not words synonymous with high fashion, yeah? Even if they were, customs doesn't know if...
a) your friend is sending you a gift or purchased something for you overseas 'cause it's cheaper than what you can buy it for in your country.
b) it's a counterfeit/fake/rep you bought off some dude you've never met.
c) you think you bought a real bag on ebay, but it turns out to be a fake.

I know your country is a bit stricter than some, but I do wonder if they really care about one purse. I think if you are having 12 black chanel flaps shipped to you, it might raise a bit more suspicion.

Here's a closeup of my Damier Azur from Jacky. I saw the auth today at LV and it was slightly whiter than my rep....maybe it was because of the lights being so bright. Or maybe they made it whiter? All pics I've seen of auth Azur have a bit of off white/cream color to it. I LOVE Jacky's Azur and I think SMKelly's brilliant story is enough to sell anybody!

Did you get a Speedy? I have been wanting that bag for quite a while now, how do you think it compares to the authentic? What bugged me is that part on the handles which looks too red in his pics. Would you say that is really an issue or not? You can PM me if you don't want to point out the flaws publicly.

Also, bbag lovers, do NBF bags have Lampo zippers? I've gathered (from reading this thread) that something is off about the interior and I would like to know what? You can PM me the defect if you don't want to write it on the public forum, please.

They do, but I think those are fake Lampos as well because I have an authentic Bbag and it zips more smoothly than the ones on my NBFs. I don't know how to describe it accurately, but there is a difference. Not really visible, though. They also put a leather strip inside the inner pocket on Firsts and some older Cities. I don't really know if it is correct or not, but my authentic First doesn't have it.

arisaa, I don't think you should condition your bag, I've heard that can only turn bags darker, although it usually doesn't affect the colour at all. But I definitely haven't heard of a bag turning lighter after conditioning. A member here conditioned her Amy and it turned it a bit darker. I have no idea how to make it lighter.

Makes sense I assume they're more concerned with wholesale purchases than individuals! I've noticed the same thing when I'm passing customs in airports, when I fly back from visiting family in Asia... if you have one or two (possibly fake) bags in your luggage they don't seem to care. It's only if you're trying to bring a significant number of bags into the country that customs officers give you a hard time!

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies My bags from T&D have finally arrived today (recall: I got maldives+framboise day and BL city) . The leather is awesome and the color is gorgeous but a little dry (I'm guessing from the harsh weather, so I'm gonna condition it later). The colors came out better than I expected, especially maldives. At first, I wasn't too sure about the light blue color, but in person it's totally different. I will definitely post pics tomarrow .

pinkprin - so did you find a way to fade your ame? I think I want it to be lighter too...

You mentioned you're still in Thailand? If you have your ame with you and you'll be there a bit longer, why not just try leaving it outside (or in a window) in the sun for as long as possible? That should fade it a bit. I don't know how much lighter you want it to be, but the sun should fade it down a shade. ?? If I remember correctly, some of the ladies on this and other forums have been known to cover their bags even when in the car to protect from fading.
