I just got home and checked the tassels on my Black City and they do have the white streaks... I'm not too worried about them cuz they will be split in no time anyways. Plus, I'll just polish them up with black dye if need be.

yes all Giant hardware bags have a thicker strap.
the detailing is correct.

Thank you for having that clarified, PinkPrincess. I would never have known that the GH bags have a thicker strap; I would have assumed as you had that it was a glitch.

no problem! i'm really glad about that.. the really large O rings are bothering me though. they are so thick and big! it really stands out. i always carry my city with the shoulder strap so now i get paranoid that everyone is staring at the HUGE gold O rings haha

PBI - but is it necessarily a good thing that the 09 Anthracite bags have a darker/greenish cast? I thought this year's Anth was supposed to be more steel blue/grey? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, what do the rivets look like on NBF bags? Thanks!

pinkprincess - The o rings bother me too although its less pronounced with the pt (vs the city) because of the size. But it is still huge! I wish t&d would change it...has anyone ever tried asking them about it? I mean the rh has the perfect size o ring why not the gh?

But I once saw a girl on the subway carrying a black ggh city and the o-rings were HUGE but everything else looked soooo perfect, it just had to be auth. I had to convince myself (I have read on this forum that the o-rings were too big), staring at the bag for 5 minutes, that it was fake. It was definitely a nbf bag. So anyone who has never read through this forum would never know about the o-rings and would be fooled by our gorgeous anthra leather.

About the QC issues - you HAVE to let the boys know about them. It sounds like there are a few issues cropping up. I have the tassels issue with the white streaks on my Black WE too. About the GIANT O Rings Pink.... T&D have been told about them sooo many times. It was in the official list that was sent off about 3 weeks ago. With pictures and measurements and everything. No response. Nothing, Nowt, Nada
T&D's GH PT, City and Day bags have the most flaws I am afraid. The side rings are the BIG sticking point for me. I couldn't order one knowing that the rings stand out as being out of scale.

If anyone has any luck with T&D about these issues please do keep us in the loop. Happy mod pic posting everyone. Come on bagalicious.... get the 'lens off' ON!

PinkPrincess: I am glad you sorted out your strap problem. The straps on the Giant Hardware Bags have to be larger or the straps will look out of place on such a bag.

Xooey: Sorry about your tassels with streaks. That can be easily rectified by asking for new tassels. Write to the boys and ask them. I am sure they will oblige.

Going out soon, will take Anthra out for with me and take a pic in daylight for comparison for you DM I have my black leather heart clipped on so you can see how different anthra is to black.(not sunny in NY today, so we'll see how it goes)
Sorry that you guys have some white streak issues on your black tassels, I'm sure you can get them camo'd, melissa71 mentioned a product a few pages ago that sounded like it would fix it.
I have e mailed the boys twice about amethyst this week and they have avoided the question like a rash each time which is really funny because the E mail is so specifically about amethyst, yet they still manage to talk about the weather! Bless em.
Helens Thanks for the photoshop collage idea, Alas i don't have photshop But I will try and find a way to do the "auction" style posting from now on, so much easier, some cameras have it built in nowdays, very cool feature..IMO.

Arisaa If you want to get a PT and you don't want it to look like your anhra GGH, get Blk GSH? Although i think that Black and Anthra are different enough in real life for you to feel good about them being individual.
