I'm pretty sure replacing the 'o' rings is not hard at all. It took my cobbler at the most, 15 minutes to replace them and it's better if you buy 'o' rings that are pre-cut so that the cobbler can just take some tools and slip the 'o' rings on. The cobbler should have all the tools necessary to replace them and definitely wouldn't damage the leather or the bag. I remember my cobbler kept feeling and squeezing my bag saying that it was gorgeous leather. A lot of the girls here have taken the step to fixing the gigantic 'o' rings. It's not hard at all and believe me, it DOES make a nice difference. Definitely more refined.

candycandy- Definitely go for raisin if you can! Your picture is making me rethink things because I wasn't planning on buying a raisin bag. That raisin GGH looks GORGEOUS! Ahh!

So as we all sat here and debated on the new Alexander Wang duffels that Catty has on her site, I took it upon myself to email a contact at Alexander Wang directly to see if this indeed would be a Spring/Summer 2010 model. This was the response:

Hi Roselyn,

Thank you for your interest in our brand. We will be offering the same model as our classic Rocco Mini Duffle for Spring 2010; however, it will be available in different colors and materializations. The studs will be in the same row format as our current style.

KitterKat - thanks for the recommendations. I actually looked at the first bag you posted previously - I like how it has the LV golden plate on it, and it looks like it is casual but not overly so. The second one is cool because of the strap! The problem I had with the strap on the Manhattan GM was that the strap buckled - like a belt - and it was a pain to have to unbuckle and buckle it back every time I opened it. I always just left it unbuckled, but then it kinda looked strange to me, too. The push-and-snap that you have on your second bag is cute to me, and wouldn't be a problem at all.

Do you just lay your bags outside for a day or put them in the window or what? How long does it take for the patina to develop?

stylehouseinc: I think you just proved the first rule in Rep purchasing-- Always do your homework! Ioffer sellers (especially) are business first so they'll likely sell anything with any brand. Someone here posted awhile back a Gucci bag with a Fendi tag?? Its that right? LOL. The first "Fenducci"!
