coco - you might want to check past threads. i know people have ordered the bayswater in oak, so you can see what it looks like new (at least).

does anyone know if jacky's doing other colors in the leopard bayswater? the pink?! i never found it on catty's site and am more of a jacky girl anyway.

i bought an oak mulberry bays off catty and was really happy with it. the colour is slightly off though, a little lighter than the auth i think. my mum has now bought it off me though so im not too sure whether it has developed much of a patina, it is only 5 months old though.

im looking forward to seeing the mulberry alexa, especially from jacky seeing as how accurate the ps1 is. i love the oak colour, but i just saw this tweed version and i quite like that too!

Hey all,

I don't know about the other rep sellers or about Jacky's current lot of Damier Azur pieces, but I bought the large Noe from him when it first came out, and I'm telling you, it's spot on.

Old timers here will recall my story of my then 80-y/o mom daring me to walk into the Century City LV store with the Noe on my shoulder.

The SAs were ALL OVER ME and bringing out new things for us to see, offering us coffee, etc. They couldn't even get the Noe in their store; they had the zip top totes and a speedy, but that was it.

Funny, about a year ago, I wore it to dinner and saw this woman with an auth. speedy...we caught each others' eyes and smiled. Nice.

I remember your story. I ordered an azur speedy from him after that. Carried it into the stores too

not keen on the black/snakeskin at all, or the blue. love the brown leopard print though, it looks almost like tortoiseshell. i hope jacky does the smaller size as its so similar to the ps1.

I am always hopelessly checking out bags on other ladies (and the occasional gent) and can't count how many times my tastes have changed after seeing someone else rock a bag that I was previously "meh" about.

Jacky posted a "red" leopard print Bayswater earlier today, but it looks fuchsia to me. Catty's fuchsia is in her photo album. It looks like their bags are from the same place however. Anyone ever notice that Catty sometimes gets the same bags as Jacky a little bit before; her pictures (and lack thereof) really do her a disservice sometimes.

You ladies are very brave, bringing your reps into authentics galore ... your confidence or are they spot on or both?

just received an amethyst RH city. it looks more purple-ish than my RH day that i received last week. i'm a bit confused. and the strap is really short. shorter than my RH black city.. i guess i need to start carrying heavy things in it so it can stretch!

NatashaR, first of all, welcome, I hope you will like it here! About NBF's Bbags, I am an avid fan of Bbags, I have an authentic one and after buying my 1st TnD, I decided never to splurge out for an authentic again. Simply because the leather is also amazing and the other details are 90% correct. But please note, the leather does vary as in real Bbags and you can't pick the kind of leather you like as you would in a Bal store, but you can generally get an idea of the quality based on the reviews of other members here. Some minor details are off and I honestly think only a Balenciaga expert could tell it wasn't authentic and 95% of the population could never guess. So, the minor differences between an authentic and an NBF are not reason enough to pay for the same bag 7 times more, IMO.

I would say it's a perfect rep and personally would not get authentic Balenciagas again. I would rather get other authentic bags when I can get Balenciaga look and quality for a fraction of the price. Of course it is possible to get a faulty bag, but I think you could talk with the guys and get a refund in that case.

About the wallets, I looooooove them and will get both the smaller one for my sister and the larger one for myself! I love wallets!

I actually really quite like the blue/ink color! Quite an unusual color for a bag, but still versatile enough re: pairing with outfits. And I'm hoping for regular sized reps too as opposed to the oversized Alexa

OMG my face is soooo red....

Well gals, here's a zinger for ya.

I ordered the LV Damier Neverfull from fangfang on 12/17 and it was mailed out before Christmas to my work address.

So, here I am, on Jan. 7, twiddling my fingers wondering where it is.

Checked tracking, and lo and behold, it was delivered on 12/28, but there was no "TO" name.

So I grilled the desk clerk who swore she didn't do anything with it...and she didn't bother to send out a blanket email asking whose package it was.

So I had to do that just now. Without revealing the contents.

TOO LATE. Our CFO called me and said "I think I have your package. I want you to know I opened it. I'm sorry, but there's no name on it."

She's not a fashionista by any means, but DAMN, there's the LV dustbag and everything. Maybe she has no clue it's a rep, but that means I can't wear it to work. Oh well.

At least it's here and I'm not out the $100! I was dreading having to bother my tFS buddy who speaks Chinese and have her demand a refund...glad it didn't come to that.

Sigh.

^ Ah gee, SMKelly. The suck-o-meter is high on that one. Does it help at all that my face went red for you?? I've so been there. Anytime I get grilled a little too hard by a nosy friend about a new bag I'm sporting I start to feel my face flush. And your lucky lucky CFO got to do the reveal!

I hope you're happy with your new goods and I think you're doing a great job of looking on the bright side. You should carry it proudly to work. You can always say it's second hand from ebay. No one need know it's a rep!

Malena, I don't have the first batch of amethyst so I can't really compare it to that. Others have said this one is more matte, not shiny, and less bright compared to the last batch. I think DangerMouse even posted comparison pics. Honestly amethyst looks sooo different IRL than in pictures. I can't capture the color. This batch of amethyst seems to be more of a deep, vibrant, purple-ish pink color but I think it is closer to the auth.
