I can't decide if I should go for an amethyst or framboise money. Already have an amethyst CP and an amethyst city so maybe I should get the framboise. But amethyst is my favorite color. I don't think I want black gsh.

It might just be me being crazy. HAHA. I don't know why I think that she has one, but who knows? I am dying to see what a bal wallet looks inside. I'm thinking of getting the mini since I like my wallets smaller. Hopefully, someone here owns one!

That would be so adorable if you get an ame wallet as well! It will be the perfect ame family. Framboise is a cute color as well! Either one is great! HAHA

I agree with you! The other day, beavercall showed me her raisin CP and I must say the leather was fabulous! It's buttery smooth, matte, and really soft. The color was gorgeous too. I feel like I'm missing out if I don't get some of the raisin leather. I would personally like a bal wallet over a CP.

Sanitizedfashion- I stayed in Atlanta (Buckhead) on and off working in 2000-2005 and I used to go to Phipps and Lennox regulaly as I was staying in the Ritz carlton opposite the Malls...do you know where I mean? There was a Hermes shop there at the time, i bought my double strap cape cod watch there, i think it was Lennox...And i never saw a Birkin in Buckhead either...lots of LV and Coach...is it still that way?
All I know is I spent a lot of money in those 2 Malls..the stores there were AMAZING!

Re- Python PS1-If you feel comfortable, E mail him politley (you know what he's like) and send him the authentic pic and ask him to change the hardware to black, maybe that will encourage him to do it, it seems ashame that a great bag is going to go to waste because of the HW that can I assume be rectified.

Yes, I know where you're talking about! Hermes recently moved to a new development (a few blocks away from the old Phipps location), which hasn't exactly opened but is supposed to be Atlanta's Rodeo Drive . Its supposed to be open this Spring with BV and Etro, oh-la-la. I Lenox, I don't really go to Phipps though.

Sadly for my handbag-lovin-eyes, things are still the same, everyone only reps LV, Coach, and a lot of fake Cambon. I think LV (both real and fake) rules this city as far as luxury handbags go. I mean, I always see the older Buckhead Betty Socialites running around in their Juicy/Bebe track suits and their trusted... speedies. However, I think I would die if I saw anyone that I didn't already know with a Birkin or anything else here for that matter.

pinkalicious- do you have a brick in your city stretching out the handles yet?
I once used lubiderm on a non nbf bal and it made a difference, but i wouldn't use it on a NBF, only on a bag that I wasn't that keen on.
I also have this leather care product called Leather CPR, I like that aswell.

You never can tell with USPS whats really going on that accurately as yesterday it said "origin post preparing to post" and today it had arrived in NY...so the 5 days in limbo were not updated, so you never can tell..i hope your loot comes soon Gigetta.

i've used lubriderm on nbfs...also did it once w/ an auth bal. takes the shine away slightly, i didn't notice a huge difference in softening the leather though.

i've also used devoucoux saddle conditioner on my auth bal. i liked it best as it's made FOR leather and also didn't strip off too much of the dye/color.

it is definitely hanging on a hanger, but nothing is in it. i think i will enjoy the unstretchy-ness of it and let it stretch on its own natural way haha. dont wanna rush it also i conditioned my anthra GGH city with lubriderm since it is so thick. it's dark anyway so i didn't care. not going to sell it either! i must say it is much softer and pliable now!

Catty just replied that the Bayswater clutch smudge leopard print bags are $85 and the coin purses are $40. I am so torn on which smudge print to get but I think I am getting the blue gray one and a Bayswater as well.

by - you are nuts! the bag came out great and looks great. so squishy and nice!

shelley - i had/have a coffer (somewher) from jacky. it is the black leather from the coffer craze a few years ago. i used the bag nearly every day for eight months, and it finally showed wear. the clasp is all scratched up and there's a seam that binds two strips of leather to create the strap and the stitch is giving (which is why i stopped using it). i believe the ruching is off on the fakes, but in the black it wasn't noticeable enough for me to say no to it. i carried that bag in nearly every high end store in the states you can think of, and garnered many compliments. i believe it's also the bag i took to the round of fashion weeks for the F/W 07 shows. it is great for those who walk/take public transit because it is very, very comfortable to wear messenger-style.

coley - i say no to jacky's birkins. i know several have bought them and been pleased, but if you've ever seen/held an auth birkin, you will notice the differences right away. i know some say they've carried them around those who own auth birkins, but if i saw someone carrying jacky's birkin, i would be able to tell, and i do not own one. i do think many of his other H pieces are passable, but i do feel the handles and overall structure on the birkins are off. jmho!

bag - thanks for the pics of the NBF wallets! prices are a little high, but what can we do? still buying one...

any clue on when the other colors will be ready? i'd prefer a color to black, but if it's very far away, i may just snap up a black.

Hey ladies! I've been lurking around for awhile and finally decided to come out of my shell and start posting . I just ordered 3 bags from T&D about 2 weeks ago which were: blempete/blue layette city in GSH (was originally suppose to get PT but they were out ), framboise and maldivies day in GSH and RH. I'm so excited to get them but they're taking forever! I will post mod pics later once they arrive. I'm also excited for T&D to finally release the money. I've been wanting a new wallet for awhile now...

It must be! I swear, it's the one bag that I always come back to. Always. It really is a bag that is classic and timeless and since that's what I'm going for, I guess I better get on it. I just picture myself in some denim, a nice top, blazer, funky accessories, sunnies and THAT BIRKIN. It goes with virtually ANY and EVERYTHING from business attire to casual chic. It has, literally, stolen my heart.

thesiren You know, I've heard some conflicting stories about Jacky's Birkins and while they are looking better these days, I have to say, I would be DEVASTATED to get one and it have the wonky stitching going on. Catty's Birks look pretty good. I checked s*bag and theirs look pretty good as well. I know that someone on here (can't remember her name) ordered a rose pink one that was gorgy!

I just can't bring myself to order from omas****. While beautiful, their reps are TOO EXPENSIVE TO BE BELIEVED. Unconscionable that I would pay that much.

I'm thinking I'd like to start with the Black 40 cm. For the summer, Tan 40 cm and for a quick pop of color, 40 cm Red. *Oh the plans I'm making! *

i also have the smaller one (can't remember name) that has the mirror on one of the sides. looks similar in size and style to the mini money. i'll try to find it and take a pic with it cards, etc so you can see how much it holds. never used it because the non-removable mirror makes it really bulky esp. with credit cards inside.
