i saw that color a few weeks ago in vegas, and i instantly gravitated to that color...congrats!!

platinum_serenity, sometimes T&D put smaller bags inside the larger one...
when i got my raisin work and coin purses, they put the purses inside the work...

so far as the clutches go, it's a tough call...
personally, i would go with outremer, because i think bright bags liven up any outfit...
but sang is a great red, and would also work (i'm just not a red bag gal)...

LovedByChanel: Your Alma is the Amarante colour, non? That and the Bleu Nuit are my favourite vernis colours. I think the MM is the perfect size. The GM has that luggage-y feel to it and the PM, well just too cutesy for me. $hitter about customs. I've had that happen to me and they just decided on assigning a value for duty. I don't think they technically charged me duty on the bag but they made me pay PST & GST (12%) on it. How they decided on an amount I'm not sure. It's funny, cause Jacky had written it was "curtains" or a "gift bag made of leather" or whatever and the value was $40. It was so obviously GUCCI, with a Gucci dust bag, and all that. Surely those nice government workers down there at the customs & revenue agency knew it was a fake/counterfeit bag?
*PS - a full sleeve on girls is the norm where I live

Bagalicious: C'mon, who you tryin' to kid girlfriend? You're not "done" with NBF's!! As soon as you say that, you KNOW T&D are gonna release Vert D'eau, Bouton D'or and some other pretentious French-sounding colour. Besides, what ever will you post about? You'll just turn into one of those people that post about LV's and Tod's and Miu Miu's and..... no wait, we already have one of those, we don't need another!

I actually (contrary to what you might think don't buy every color they make) only what I like, i declined on raisin,officier,blue layette,framboise,to name just a few! If i ever saw a maldives or a vert deau RH WK rear it's pretty head tho
Chicadee- The rings on the day currently are the original, the slighlty larger ones of yesteryear, so when T&D sent me the outremer they also sent me the smaller silver O rings for the day, I'll prolly have them swapped out today.

Bagalicious: You pose a very tough question. With the bags presently in my collection I would choose Raisin Classic Day w/RH, Amethyst Part Time w/RH
and Vert Deau Work w/RH. If I had a sandstone or Galet Work you know that it would have to change to one of those. I always get asked about my Amethyst Part Time w/RH. Everyone wants to know where I purchased it and what type of bag it is? One of my coworkers always asks why my bag is so bright. I reply because it is.

I never liked day's...But i really wanted to, but i cant wait use this one.

I got your pics..they all look stunning.

My day (Iman) was on her way to the doctor just now when i took that pic, she is having her appendix(O rings) removed..and having the T&D smaller ones replaced (A supermodel trick)
Also- fellow New Yorkers I have been PM'd about my cobbler, I recomend him highly, so if you want to all meet one day, i can take you to him..He is on the UWS on Columbus Avenus + 71st street. I trust him with ALL my bags, and he is very reasonable, He charged me $14 to replace the O rings, and I let him keep the old ones as a gift.
I mentioned that I might be bringing him some new customers, he seemed very pleased!

bag - i have that same black day, i think. i bought mine in march of 2008, but it was already old at that point and leftover stock. it took FOREVER for that bag to grow on me, but it finally did and it's the perfect go-to bag for day, imho. i have kind of abandoned it now that i have my anthra club, but it is a fantastic bag with leather that is out-of-control. love the sandstone too!

Coco- What are the chances...I just came in from a shoot and there were 3 bals in the room, here is an authentic galet city compared to my gray 06..pic by me!
These ladies knew there B bags and were all very excited by mine as well, someone had a granny and a sang..and a valentino bag that had distressed flowers in brown leather on the front..awesome bag..kinda like mad max meets a bunch of flowers!

Siren...I LOVE THAT DAY!
