I see people selling the Azuli coat below retail on eBay every now and then I would go for it, I have that coat and I practically live in it

These might not appeal to some of the newer IM fans, but I'm personally really excited to see so many new spring arrivals that feel like throwbacks to the Marant from several years ago. I've so far purchased the white embroidered peasant blouse, the linen shorts, and the khaki linen jacket, all Etoile. Added bonus, many of these items are very accommodating for my expanding, pregnancy belly! Even the shorts, because they are elastic waist and can be worn low (although it's questionable whether I will still be able to wear them when summer comes around and I'm 8 months pregnant).

However, this is definitely not helping my plans to shop less this year.

tourist, you are so right. the peasant tops got my attention too. they are a throwback in a good way...etoile still seems true to the nucleus of casual chic. you wear it beautifully.

I agree! There is a beautiful blouse from the mainline that reminds me of the older, gypsy-esque Isabel aesthetic. I think maybe it's called the Fara blouse, but it is similar to your peasant shirt but without the embroidery. Just a beautiful drapey cream silk with a gathered neckline and billowing sleeves. I love it!

peachescream - I know exactly which blouse you are talking about, it's gorgeous and has such a beautiful drape. I agonized over it for a while, but in the end, I feel like the price is too steep for what it is and the volume perhaps overwhelming for my petite frame.

runner - thanks for sharing the preview photos! The shape of the first dress is really cute.

soft - yes! It's the old IM fish necklace, from 2006 I think. Still one of my favorites. And I know, I've been looking for this type of blouse for such a long time (still envy yours!), even buying a couple others that never quite satisfied. I'm very happy this time around.
