I'm not a fan of Gaultier but a couple of dresses in this collection are really spectacular. It's couture and it's good collection in my opinion.

Off topic rant;
Omitting coverage of Gaultier, the Couture show over a feud with Tim Blanks and Vogue itself never showing Alaia (Wintour, whatever their fued), which in turns shuts them out millions of viewers or admirers is indicative of how petty and childish this industry can embarrassingly be.

I agree with the quote above me.

At any case, I was pleasantly surprised with Gaultier this season. The past few seasons have been dated, and yet now you see Gaultier stress that certain austerity that hits all the right points in a collection. Wearable yet incredibly decadent and rich. The way he handled liquid gold and that saturated red was so precise in contrast with the creme and black.
