^ me too. it's one of the best things I've seen so far..looks so promising

it's extremely refreshing after seeing all the over-exposed outfits at Milan. I like the PURE colors and the geometric shapes (a triangle cluch!)...it's so clean and sharp. I really like it (although I have to say Jil Sander didn't move forward much).

This isn't very interesting. It looks like the fall collection with color. He really needs to try something different.

Noone on earth will be buying an expensive little suit in bright primary colour! Of course, all these pieces will be available in neutrals as well, colour and sequins being the news so far though at Jil Sander makes me believe that these were some really low steps forward in the re-definition of the house, even though i pay respect to the fact that he is very consistant with his aesthetic.

Like the feeling of pureness and those shoes are nice too.

very, very, veeery interesting silouette! proportions are really good, and the colors are just awesome, they look simple, but they are quite elavorate i'd say, very interesting notes... we are gonna have a quite SHINY-COLORFULL summer... and this is not the first/last show working with bright tones this season.

I love the bright colours combined with the sharp tailoring (but of course tri is right in saying that no-one on earth will drop over $2000 on a neon bright suit).

But in the face of its lack of commerciality, it still provides great inspiration.

Plus, the shoes are just fantastic

I'd love to see a close up of the sequin pieces to get a better idea of how many colours & intensity was used to get that subtle multi-tonal effect.

I like the primary colors! Not too excited about the collection though, but I do see some very nice dresses (like the one on Lily in post #28)!

Yeah, I can't imagine many regular customers going for the suits. But I don't think that's what the collection is about.

I think, as a hypothetical Sander customer, I would look to each new collection as a chance to stock up or add to my wardrobe. Gradually picking out pieces that I can always count on and keep well after their seasonal "expiration". This is opposed to looking for the new trends each season and staying "hip". These clothes in that sense are unfashionable because they won't ever go out of style as they were never really in style. I think that is how Simons is re-defining the brand. It's one of the only truly modern labels if you look at it in that regard.

oh, i love this too!! the cuts, shape, even colors don't hurt....beautiful!

Not too crazy about it, but I'm thrilled there aren't any of those disgusting prints that have been everywhere :D

I would ;) I like buying colorful statement pieces, though I must admit to owning no Jil Sander, and the fact that these colors are truly eye-popping (if not blinding) I like them, though.
