I think I've always quite liked the dramatic make up John has opted to use (I absolutely loved John's Madame Butterfly , especially on the eyes. It just always seems to be so wonderfully done, yes, like if you're on stage and the makeup must be perfect. I like the runways setting as well, it really does set the atmosphere of the show, it brings some magic into it! I like the big knitted hats- it reminds me of the Mad Hatter. The shoes made me smile or I'd look thoughtfully at them, because they seems a little strange yet they fitted into the show. The gold studs on some of the shoes reminded me of the flashing lights that light up the front doors of a theatre, which I liked as well. The slight of eccentricity that's always about in John's designs for Dior or for his own line is something that always makes me want to take a look at what he's come up with, even if I don't really like the collection in the end. The fact that theres always something slightly strange or dramatic about each piece is what makes it a Galliano creation, I guess.
