i have always had good luck with aurora 8 - it knits up nice and lasts longer. i was in love with a superwash wool called Ecco, but they discontinued it, unfortunately.
lately i have been using malabrigo yarns 100% merino, and it is sooo soft next to the skin. i highly recommend it.
BTW, i worked in a yarn store for a while and it was like being addicted to some crazy drug...like homer simpson working in a donut shop!!!

so my question is, if i take out 10 stitches, that would ultimately bring the pattern down in size, but still keep the stitch patterns and cable repeats right? i think that's right, but can anyone confirm it for me before i start again????
