Take it for a grain of salt, don't know how reliable OK Magazine is, but I was wondering how Charlize felt since she seems close to both Kirsten and Liberty:

Consider this: Charlize Theron starred in Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart and according to RadarOnline, they forged a close friendship with each other. Keep in mind the Oscar winner was also directed by Rupert Sanders since of course, it's the same film, and she also became friends with Liberty Ross, his wife.

An insider told the site, “Charlize is absolutely fuming with Kristen for having an affair with Rupert. She is very tight with Liberty, has often socialized with the family over dinner and cannot believe Kristen has done this."

The source added, “When they were filming Snow White and the Huntsman, Charlize felt like an older sister to Kristen, and they were always sharing advice." Apparently they got really close and according to the insider, Charlize asked KStew if she wanted to be her baby's godmother!

Above all, it sounds like the infidelity could leave any co-star bewildered. The insider added, “It’s certainly left Charlize between a rock and a hard place, because she feels great sympathy for Liberty and the kids and yet, she has a sisterly love for Kristen."

I think what also sets this apart from other "cheating scandals" and even the Kristen/Rob/Michael situation is the fact that this really doesn't seem like Kristen or Rupert had any plans to leave their current partner for each other. It's not like they were helplessly in love and wanted to be eventually together but just didn't know how. Nope. Instead, they were consciously going behind the backs of people they apparently did love just to scratch an itch, and they had no intention of taking it further. The public sits up on a high horse in that way; they'll forgive acts done for love, but not for sex.

4. Despite Stewart’s public apology and first open declaration of love for the actor, Pattinson, who was “blindsided,” is still very “upset” and is not prepared to discuss the matter at all with Stewart.

Also, the media hates Kristen so much right now because, aside from the obvious that she is the significantly more famous of the two, she went to such great lengths to construct this media persona of someone who's real, genuine, above the Hollywood BS, and repulsed by the skeeziness of fame. That's why the media and the public hate Kristen so much. Because this incident portrays her to the public not only as a cheater in the relationship aspect of her life, but moreover an all around liar and fraud in every aspect of her life. And that's why it's probably going to be more difficult for her to shake this.

Well the fact that Rupert has two children would complicate the story, but yeah, the public would almost definitely be more understanding if this were a "true love" couldn't-help-it kind of thing instead of this calculated, couldn't-keep-it-in-my-pants thing. People love a good love story at the end of the day. This just ain't one of 'em.

how reliable is gossip cop? isn't it like the place publicists go to to have the story printed they want? so if their publicists now admit that they have hooked up on several occasions, maybe there will be more pics or stories of them out and about together? or people from restaurants/bars/hotel/the neighbourhood will talk? don't know why else they would suddenly admit that this wasn't just a one time thing.

but they should just give up on the "no sex" thing. they are both grown ups, nobody sneaks around this much for just a kiss, that's ridiculous

Apparently Gossip Cop is a PR mouthpiece. Now they are saying they were a few hookups but in her statement it was a one time thing. I wonder though if Kristen was upfront to Ruth her publicist at the beginning?

i doubt it, i think the no sex thing is more directed towards the twi fandom cus there was also a mention of oral sex in car. this way it's "they only kissed few timeeees and it was on one occassion". plus, #umero brought up great points of what it might mean too and, in general, sexuality of young women isn't the top liked category to read/hear/talk about.

OMG the fact that she's like his legs looks like Rob's or that those are Rob's shoes (because its apparently unlikely for men to own black sneakers) is just downright hilarious.

Kristen could release a video of her repeating the statement and they will still say it's been dubbed and then take a bunch of clips from interviews to prove that its fake.

I don't understand why they even pointed it out. It doesn't make the whole situation any less appalling. Cuddling and kissing is just as bad as having sex with someone. To be honest, I'd be more hurt by her emotional infidelity than sexual.

Her apology was cringe-worthy too. She sounded like a child having a tantrum. I love him, I love him sounded more like I want him, I want him (back) now I've realised the grass is not greener on the other side

dude, even with all these pics the fandom keeps insisting it's all fake and photoshopped. based on that logic, she wasn't even with michael.

Not Plain Jane - not only did julia paid off danny's wife, she wore certain shirts that were pointed at that woman that were beyond disgusting and until his wife signed those papers there were rumors that julia pulled every single string to get her fired from jobs she landed and in the end destroyed her career as a makeup artist for movies. danny's role in all of this was to hide while this was happening (even his parents were standing behind his then wife).

REALLY SHE DID THAT?!?!??! horrible.


anyway, people cheat. it is not cool. but that happens and it is stupid thing to do. it is bit exhausting when people speculate so much, opinions after opinions but it is hilarious to watch twihards reactions.

Secondly, the Julia Roberts and Brangelia stories do seem to support the notion that the public will forgive such a scandal if the two cheaters end up together, happily ever after, with sweet kids running around.

btw, dajrekshn, creep details about Julia! Almost sounds stalkerish. But she is a girl who gets what she wants while she comes off all "sweet"; still can not believe she has an oscar and Julianne Moore doesn't for example. But she is big box office too so maybe that explains a lot. Same with Brad and Angie - but what about Kristen? Has she earned that sort of capital in Hollywood?

she has strong indie cred among the HW peeps, she's one of the top youngsters at the moment who gets the most wanted scripts first (too bad she sucks in picking them in the last couple of years) and she has 2.5 billion $ at boxoffice with twilight (not to mention she's earned the most of all the youngsters last year by forbes). so yeah, there's def a capital.
