I liked the BTW video much better too. In fact, I think the BTW video is fantastic!

I don't really know what to say about this one. At least it wasn't totally random. It wasn't as controversial as I thought it would be.

Ok, I'm far from being a fan of Gaga, although I do like many of her songs (especially from the time when she didn't want them to be so "meaningful"), but I just watched the video (this gang thing totally reminded me of Luhrmann's adaptation of Romeo & Juliet) and read some comments and I was wondering. Isn't it just one more fame metaphor? The girl who falls for the bad boy sounds to me more like the basic plot of the metaphor, not the meaning. Wouldn't Judas be the public who "consumes" her and her image, and the critics as well? The media? Like being famous can be really bad but she can't resist it, she "surrenders" to it, blablabla, just like many other songs (even Rihanna's S&M)?

the song is anthemic in its energy. its positive and actually makes me smile. i dont know about the sax though yet. the overall energy is great though.
