This is not fussy and so very chic and funky. I love that dress on Marina. This should definitely be the toast of the f/w season.

I'm very excited for this!!

spectacular show, everything is perfect - the easyness of the clothing, vanguard and sophistication for the fabric (especially the techno ones like raquel and anabela final outfits) the one-shoulder pieces.

Great collection!
It's fine to see Alber continuing doing something under his signature in Lanvin, like the ruffles, futuristic things, metallic, etc. And every season he adds something new into it and make it referential and new at the same time.
That's why I love his design!

On the other hand, I don't understand the "he saved Paris fashion week" comments. Paris fashion week didn't need saving - there were plenty of good collections.

other designers would do well to take notes from alber. one doesnt need to reinvent the wheel every season to have a good collection. sometimes just strengthening your view is enough.

i agree too,ki_egoiste. just as many were saying about mcqueen. i thought there were some incredible collections. probably the strongest season in a while in paris. and there have been some good seasons before this.

this really is beautiful. i was watching this thread start, and it gained five pages in fifteen minutes. it's quite an anticipated show..with good reason.

Alber has got to be one of the most talented and relevant designers. I think it's the simple beauty and casual ease of his clothes that make them the ultimate. As much as I loved the stiffness of a couple of other collections this season, I'll always love the comfort of his stuff.

His best in a while (my last fav was FW06).. There is a fine line between staying true to your identity and becoming boring and repetitive and Mr. Elbaz never falls into the latter. He keeps the clothes exciting, refreshing and yet undeniably Lanvin I just adore the mini tiered effect on some looks, the color palette, and gorgeous accessories
