Luminous, Glowy and Healthy Skin

Recently I got a fruit machine and tried it for the first times yesterday and today... I put carrots in, one banana, apples, then a tiny bit of olive oil. This is my favourite drink from now on. It gives me such a fresh, glowy skin and i feel really good about just having had a really healthy breakfast. I feel energetic and can highly recommand such a high dosis of vitamin in the morning - especially to make your skin beautiful!

^ i am DEF going to try that!!!! maybe blend a few pieces of salmon in there too... HAHA jk. i'll just take some fish oil afterward

btw i am absolutely SHOCKED at the dangers of soy... i thought it was super healthy!! but it can't be ALL bad like the articles say. anyone have any info on this?

^ My uncle does a lot of research with soy and is a huge believer in it. He recently sold a protein drink to a major company...and it contained soy. I ask him about the potential dangers all the time, and he says that like anything, there may be side effects. However, he thinks the there is more of a gain than a risk. Just his medical opinion, of course.

I have lupus and have been treating myself with soy protein powder for years, and it makes me feel so much better. For me, I think it is worth it. However, this is just my personal opinion. I have read some of the scary stuff about soy, and if true, it is pretty alarming.

Please tell us more! :woot:

Its amazing stuff.

I started using it with chanel and noticed my skin was clearer and more glowing.

I like the results so much that I switched to completely to all of the Caudalie products and my skin looks the best it ever has.

It's evening now - my skin is still glowly ;-)
I recommand the carrot-apple-oil combination!
By the way I have noticed that walking around in fresh air also gives you nice, rosey cheeks. Just being healthy really... is the secret.

caudalie is superrrr good!

ITA that healthiness within creates the best glow (hence why Keri Russell has a glow and Amy Winehouse doesn't...among other reasons ). And then ehancing with products is great in addition to a healthy lifestyle. :woot:

That combo along with some ginger is actually amazing for your whole body! Good discovery!

Is it real juice or rather a smoothie? I think about trying your recipe but I only have a blender- do you think this would work too?

I don't know about the blender. But it's just the fruit's juice. With nothing else - no sugar, no honey, no ice. Just the juice that comes out of the fruits ;-)

You could use a blender with soft fruits - berries, bananas etc. and mix it with a natural yoghurt to make a smoothie (similar to how you'd make a milkshake, just no ice cream  ) I don't think a blender would work with things like carrots, and apples  might be worth trying though :flower:

I think the good thing about the fruit-juice only is that you don't have to use any milk or yogurt or any of that stuff. I love milk so much! theres nothing better than milkshakes! but a pure fruitjuice is probably more effective for a brilliant glow ;-)

i tried it.. and it was... odd.
kind of like a chutney, so i squeezed some grapefruit juice in and added some fruit juice, and it kind of worked  not really drinkable.. more like... eat-with-spoon-able

^ I tried it with a blender too. lol It came out the same way... very thick. You definitely can't drink it. But it was good. I added some juice too.

i didn't even know there was a difference between a juicer and a blender :S

^ WHAAAAT. WHY? i thought about it and ....isn't a 'juicer' just a blender with a strainer?? i mean i could probably blend apples and carrots in a blender and then just pour it into a cup via a strainer....and get the same results as a juicer? we need someone with experience in this area here!

^I like putting carrots and apples in a blender and it comes out as a very yummy salad, but there's no juice
