Luminous, Glowy and Healthy Skin

i do have acne prone skin.

well i think you should try it anyway because before i used it i had flaking going on and it just disappeared. I also have a combination skin and its around my mouth area that tends to get dry. My skin before i used the mask again was tired skin.

I dont know how to explain it, it felt droopy even though i dont have a single wrinkle and when i moisturize my face it just felt like im masking tired skin instead of fixing it.

After i used the aspirin mask, my face felt revived. blackheads on my nose dramatically disappeared, my skin was glowing and the overall tone was visibly better. To sum it in one word, my skin was more stable.

i mean i still dont have perfect skin but problems i have with it is either less visible and not as bad as before.

you can mix aspirin with honey or aloe vera to make it less drying.

LTEC - you are on makeupalley too??? I love you. LOL

I have not tried the asprin mask either, but I know people who have and LOVED it.

yeah and its not overhyped at all. it really is something like a miracle product.

I've been drinking chocolate soy milk for the past two weeks! okay so stop that. I've been buying the caudalie lip conditioner for a few months now, I was too afraid to buy the whole shebang, but I'm glad to hear it works so well. I swear by their chapstick though, it's amazing. :D

You know - I have terribly dry skin, too. I have never experienced peeling, but I get extremely dry spots around my nose, especially. I can say that I cannot attribute this to dehydration - I drink plenty of water daily, and have for years.

I have dry spots too around my nose too, exfoliating is the way to go! an AHA mask would really help, last night I did a clay mask, you can make your own with the apple cider vinegar/aztec clay mix...but it's really messy I'd rather just grab from a bottle, but I mostly use now serious skin care: their glycolic 3 mask, I use it about twice a week and then just put on a good moisturizer afterwards, all over and shabam, this morning my skin was perfect! :D If i get lazy and don't do it, just cleansing and moisturizing won't help. you have to use a mask, etc to gently exfoliate. :flower:

I find drinking a tablespoon of flaxseed oil every morning really makes a difference to my skin! Some people can't stand the taste and the oily film it leaves in your mouth but once you get used to it it's ok. Whatever you do, don't try to mix it into yogurt and eat it - it's disgusting!

wow! I have to say emailme, after reading your post I was really encouraged to try the asprin mask... It really does work!!! Amazing! Although I did leave mine on for a bit too long... my face went a bit red, but nothing that green and chamomile tea didnt fix. I think im going to become a regular user. How often do people do it??

yay! another convert.

as for how i use it. i use it every 3 days and i leave it on for about half an hour or so. it really varies from person to person.

as to make it, i use 6 tablets, again its all about preference so use as much as your going to need to cover your face.

i then use the mortar and pestel to grind it and then i place all the grains on a small.

I then soak my finger wet and let a few drops on the aspirin grains then i mix it with a cotton swab and voila!

aspirin mask ready to go!

Ever since I started having an apple and a glass of water before bed, I wake up with clear skin and don't even need makeup. But it varies month to month depending on my "cycle" but I have noticed a positive difference.

I love Dr. Hauschka´s Rose Cream light, it makes my skin perfect :flower:

Drinking lots of water 8 servings + will not only do miracles for your skin, but also for your under eyes and lips. I have tried many products but so far my favorite has been teh scrub, wash and heavy moisturizer from clinique for men theyre fabulous and dont dry my skin at all unlike some people say

just buy a bottle of aspirin from the pharmacy, then you mix it at home yourself! all you need is some aspirin pills and a bit of water. there's a million different recipes for it on google. i tried it with honey last night, and my skin felt so smooth afterwards! and it smelled good when the mask was on ^_^

How about us handsome men?

I use nivea for men face scrub but I want to find something perhaps more effective.. any suggestions?

aspirin mask is a home made mask and the main ingredient, aspirin, can be bought in any drugstore, walmart for example.

i mentioned on one of my recent post how i make mine.

I finally tried the aspirin mask last night, and it was really good! My skin isn't all that bad to begin with, so there wasn't much to work with, but now my face is a lot smoother and softer. I will definitely keep doing it :flower:

Skin is differend from person to person, but I found that scrub way too harsh on my skin. It left my skin a bit red and dry after using it.
Now I use thise weird brand I got at some of those eco-friendly stores that I use to clean my face twice a day. It's called "Neutral" face wash. It's really soft on my skin and cleans it perfectly.
