Marc Jacobs F/W 10.11 New York

it's good that Marc finally try something not insane
it's simple but makes me feel good in fighting against the economical problems
daily wear looks are fine and wearable
but those gowns are meaningless, and i don't even know why still use candy paper as the material
too many stocks?

Well, the music was pretty insane at least ;)

this collection is not for the uninitiated. marc jacobs got to his core with this collection and showed what he does best. this stands as the type of collection that separates his fleeting fans from his true loves. i don't think those stores will find themselves able to handle the demand these clothes will create. marc jacobs' has proven his new york's miuccia prada with this collection. this is so tailored for the marc jacobs girl, i almost feel like one of those models would just walk off the runway and onto the cobblestone streets of the village. and let's be clear: marc jacobs means business with this collection. it's a swan song to all of those womens whose pursestrings have been tight and whose credit cards have been locked away. it's time to come back. marc jacobs has put on a suit, he's walked on the stage with this business partner, and he ready to move some serious merch. you could tell this was no flight of fancy: each bag, each shoe, each piece of eyewear, each separate, each dress has a marc jacobs woman in mind. this is the type of collection with which women will redo their wardrobes. the married life is clearly doing him good....

I really enjoyed the presentation of this show, the music, the voice over, everything really. Really nicely delivered.

There's a bit too much fur happening for me to love the collection as a whole, but I do love pieces of it. There's a great feeling and atmosphere that go with some of the pieces, particularly the really sweet yellowy/beige dresses and the metallic hints.

Lovely collection, the best from Marc in several seasons imo.. Some amazing coats and dresses.

Thank you for the video Fatalefashion I absolutely loved it. I think I like the collection even more. There are definitely some pieces I want to own.

Wow. What a beautiful, understated collection. So many great coats, and dresses. I loved all of gray. And the bags were great too. Really, really lovely collection, and a wonderful presentation.

Thanks for the vid and pics!

I really love how he worked with fur for this collection. It was elegant without being in-your-face.

Wonderful collection, I like almost everything-knitwear, coats, use of fur, the only thing I could do without are dresses at the end.

idk it is a good collection but it's nothing new...idg why everyone is obsessing over it
i do love the bags tho

this is nice, but a lot of ppl overracted ! i'm sure if the name was different, there wouldn't be so much "looooooooove greaaaaaaaaaaat perfeeeeeeeeect". this is typical in fshion, the simple fact being jacob or lagerfeld is enough for ppl so always say it's a miracle.
but i like this collection

The bags are stunning !
I love the mood of the show and some of coats . It's a nice collection .

I do like the presentation and some of the dresses are quite pretty.

But I don't love it. I expected so much more. I don't think a lot of the clothes are very flattering or wearable. I think it would look real dowdy worn in real life.

But I don't really hate it either. It is kinda a vintage Marc in a way, and I want to love it, I just wish it were developed differently....

 People can be allowed to like something, just because they like something.

love this, its relaxed elegance and undone cosmopolitan to me. a sober collection (finally), weighted in craftsmanship and is a testament to why he is such a significant designer.
