scott, I know what you mean by blah, especially in the jackets and dresses which are such do-overs. BUT, the skirts are really something.

totally agree - its not quite where it was in my estimations (but maybe I am just not a Marni girl anymore) but its better than this past winter and this s/s 08 collection which is hideous. the shoes are ridiculous...i find all these stilt shoes pretty misogynistic.....even though Consuelo 'designs' I bet a man did those shoes. like the YSL ones.... what woman with a normal life can wear those......?

also, the shapes are brilliant. i love the bags as well.

I do actually like this, But I just feel like we've seen this before. Very Marni, but I wish maybe she did a bit more with the collection. It's almost like she's trying too hard to outdo Prada..

i like most of the outfits but a few, just a precious few, of the color combinations here really irk me...too pastelly and chalky. i thought she was so sucessful last season in her use of color. i love the navy fur coat and the pointy toed python shoes!

I am not a Marni girl,wouldnt wear any of it but i love this collection,from coats to shoes its so lovely and cool, makes me wish i could pull this off.
