really? I always feel that they are VERY DIFFERENT. and for the recent collections, I will choose Marni over Prada any time.

I agree in the difference. Marni isn't as prim or close to the body. For me, they have different connotations. But it woudn't be too off the mark to say they were cousins in a way. There's definitely a connection.

I wonder if this collection was done without Paulo Andersson as design director. It just doesn't seem to have the finesse the last few collections had. It seems all the good ideas got a little muddled when they were executed.

didn't they lose two designers in the last two years...
one went over to vera wang(which explains why that collection is so good)...
and isn't the other one debuting at chloe this season?...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I always love Marni, but I'm not blown away yet.. Looking forward to seeing the whole collection!!
