Marni F/W 07.08 Milan

I really love it, but not surprise I usually love their collections ^_^

Another lovable collection... I think the turmoil of designers moving around is reflected in the collections though.... that feeling of same-iness might be covering up the fact that the design team is a little shambolic....

Bearing that in mind, the collections have been great for the past few seasons... I love the use of materials here.

which exactly would those be then...

do you meant the sack shaped dresses or the shiny foil...?

didn't they lose two designers in the last two years...
one went over to vera wang(which explains why that collection is so good)...
and isn't the other one debuting at chloe this season?...

AHAH! That IS why Vera Wang has been so good!

Yeah, Paulo Andersson debuts at Chloe this season. I'm excited for the Chloe show for that very reason.

The color pallette is lovely as are the clothes themselves, but I can't help but be b-o-r-e-d. Season after season it's the same designs w/ different color schemes. I miss the Marni that evolved season after season.

hmm, am I the only person who think that the accessories were quite derivative? - bags are Chanel, Shoes are Balenciaga, Fendi, and maybe Jil Sander?
although I still like the classic Marni clothes......
