ok, it's time to start hunting.

so ...

*grey.
*classic (still a strong trend for the past few seasons) / chic FRENCH streets style (everything I spot is very french chic).
*skirts (they were basically in a lot of spaces).
*color block (i will illustrate that one).
*straight cut for pants (is that a str8 cut ? or cigarette cut ?)
*LEATHER / Leather x wool/cashmere block
*colors patterns (is that color block ?)
* FUR !!!! sometimes, a little disgusting.
* stripes
* more and more styling tips

BLOCKING

I assume I can post different sort of blocking, so you can have a better idea of what I called "blocking".

all pictures from catwalking.com

Dries van Noten, Givenchy, Junya W, Neil Barret

LEATHER
Tim Hamilton, Cerruti, Neil Barrett, JPG, RO, YSL, Juun J

same source

STRIPES and Cie.

When there's stripes, there's always squares (non sense) ... so pied de poule, pied de galle and tartans are here.

Dries (of course), JPG, Gaspard Y, LV, Junya and more ...

JACKETS and COATS and ARCHITECTURE

Short sleeves jkts, patterns jkt, destructured jkts etc.
Jackets and coats are the BEST pieces of the season ... After all, what do you want them to work on ? ....

CDG, Jil Sander, Junya W, Marni, Julius, Issey Miyake, DVN ....
and see others trends, too.

SUNDAY IN PARIS

ok that one is completely subjective !
agree. or not.

Marni, Prada, YSL, CDG, Issey, Junya etc.

it might be my wishing list, actually.

Also, I've seen a lot of tracksuit bottoms or tracksuit bottom-style trousers, I think.

OVERCOATS/OVERSIZED COATS
an oversdose

Lanvin, Raf Simons, YSL, Julius, Junn J, Dior Homme

catwalking, style.com, scoute.org
Note that instead of adding an overcoat, Raf Simons used the usefull part of it and made a vest out of it, so you can wear only important stuff over you coat ...

So much corset-like interesting things for your midsection .

It seems as if many designers went for the 'end of the world' themed collection. Very interesting. The baggy clothing, the layers and boots. Also, the color hues were very dark with with many shades of grey, browns, and greens.

i LIKE that alot! It's like the opposite (kinda) of futurism but it's looking forward toward positive, it's negative toward the end of days!!

gotta be fashionable when 2012 hits lol (i can't WAIT to see the shows for fall of 2012 lolol)

BELTED COATS
Big winter coats belted at the waist, often with contrasting colours and, at Hermes, with regular trouser belts.

In terms of the Galliano Corsets, I thought it was really interesting as well how men (at least in the fashion world) have now become so interested in the "ideal form" like women that they are beginning to sinch in their own body. I thought it would probably just be one of those catwalk only things... that is until I saw that Spanks unveiled Spanks for Men this past week. Looks like Galliano really did have his finger on the pulse of an upcoming trend.

On another note, I'm working on a post right now (probably won't post it until Tuesday though), and I couldn't help but notice another trend:
Belts Used In Unorthadox Ways- I noticed it first starting last year when one of the shows (who escapes me) wrapped belts around the arms of their jackets. Looks like it got continued this year only now I see belts being used on the outside of blazers, on coats, even shoes are jumping on the Belt Bandwagon. Here are some pics

Deep Green

I am also loving the rich deep green colors of the FW2010 Runways.
