MET Costume Institute Gala 2016: "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology"

Rose Byrne is so beautiful. She just exudes class, even in a dress that's nothing special. Alicia Vikander looks bad, but Taylor Swift looks absolutely atrocious.

Rita Ora is such a try-hard. She even tries hard at being a bird and doesn't succeed.

Alicia Vikander - Louis Vuitton
Anna Ewers - Jason Wu
Anna Wintour - Chanel
Bee Shaffer - Alexander McQueen
Cindy Crawford - Balmain
Idris Elba - Tom Ford
Karolina Kurkova - Marchesa
Poppy Delevingne - Marchesa
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - Ralph Lauren
Selena Gomez - Louis Vuitton
Taylor Swift - Louis Vuitton
Wendi Deng - Christopher Kane

Florence looks so good. Meanwhile Karlie looks like she's on her way to MET 2046

So many people wearing Vuitton. Who's the girl in the blue dress? Poor kid, she looks so out of place.

I take it back, I take it back! Almost everyone look so bad. What is up with that???

I was excited with the theme, thinking I´d see lots of interesting techniques and fabrics... what I got? silver everywhere -_- machina=robots=silver?

I like Elle's look. It's nothing extraordinary but at least it's elegant and age-appropriate and not try-hard/attention seeking.

Everyone is looking either boring or ugly as sin. Just like every year. Cancel this event already.

I didn't know Jennifer Connely was attending, she looks promising. Even though she is probably wearing an off-the-runway Vuitton dress from what I can see.
